No body mentioned trainer or teacher. I am older now but, had I known this earlier in my Law enforcement career, I would give been a trainer for the department I use to work. Know what you want to do IN law enforcement. I am teacher now. Most people will find out what they want when they are older.
Awesomeness!
This was great! Praise God for these men and the many other men and women who do these jobs! Please pray for me, I’m finishing out one more year for my associates degree so I can apply to be a Texas State Trooper! Please be praying I am given the guidance and strength and qualifications needed to do so! God bless all of y’all! Jesus loves you!❤️
I love DPS. I was a rider with Lino Martinez. Trooper 7 He taught me how to be a good officer. I met a lot of good DPS Officers. I know a few Texas Rangers. Mostly retired.. I am out for to help all DPS troopers. Thank you! CJ Havada, Al Cuallar.. I turned in Drug money to DPS when I was A County Officer, my department was under Investigation for missing money. 1.5 million was seized by DPS. Drug money. Traffic stop.
Great job Texas state troopers 👏👮🏼♂️
Much love to Erik Burse from Florida. ☺☺☺☺☺
here’s a hack, join the US Air Force military police (security forces). get college credits while active duty or go national guard and study full time.
you’ll have military experience, college credits or a degree. plus the training will be a lot easier since you’ve already been through Security Forces Academy.
Good luck troopers!
I did the same, best decision ever!
Join the US Army Infantry. Then you can walk in the Texas Rangers office and they will give you a job..

Takes alot of work to earn a badge.
It takes at least twice as long to be a cosmetologist! That's sad!
@@hubster4477 it takes 6-7 months of grueling physical and mental exhaustion to become a state trooper and most of the time you have to apply the year before? From my understanding it takes around 7 months to get a cosmetology license.
@@karsensaulters4114 9 months for state trooper, at least a year for cosmetology in michigan.
@@karsensaulters4114 17 weeks to finish a regular police academy ( city cop) in michigan.
@@hubster4477 at least a year when you’re working 8 hours 5 days a week max, these people are in training 7 days a week day and night 6 to 7 months depending upon what class. You also have to have an associates or equivalent military service. It doesn’t matter about Michigan. You are on a state trooper video and referring to troopers.
The battousai found most incident reports involving DPS involved lies.
I don't wish to sound like a hater but anyone who would write someone a citation merely for exceeding the speed limit by 1mph in the state of TX is just wrong.
It would be nice if Texas Highway Patrol WOULD not send the rookie/boot/ shower shoe troopers to the Alpine/Marfa/Ft Davis area of Texas.
@@maxbell3736 Texas DPS doesn't cite someone for going 1 mph over the speed limit, get real.
Eff TXDPS!! Take your hat off indoors.
