Yeah I remember skimming through an article documenting Tom's superhuman ability to to past five-minutes(!) holding his breath, and I was like, no way! As far as filming ANYTHING underwater goes, yeah I cam imagine the risks plus levels of difficulty with possible breakage in cameras being submersed in water.
The world record for holding one’s breath is at about 24 minutes. So for a trained person who has purged in preparation and is relaxed, 5 minutes isn’t too bad.

rogue nation might still be my favorite of the franchise. it's a shame what they did with rebecca in dead reckoning.
