- Learn to build an Avatar inspired Floating Terrascape (Terrarium)
I had bought a cork lid jar from Amazon (link below) and decided to build an Avatar inspired floating mountain terrascape using it. Ideally I would have liked to have a bigger jar but I had to work with what I have in hand. I proceeded to create a hardsacpe with driftwood which I partly covered with a paste of aquasoil and Sphagnum moss so that I can plant some moss on it. After I had added the moss, I proceeded to add some plants (Bolbitis Fern, Anubias and Peperomia prostrata) on it. I also added some details to the scape with thin pieces of driftwood. Next I used some fishing line wire and a bent copper wire to hang the terrascape from the cork lid which I then carefully placed inside the glass container. I really like how it turned out.

Love your videos. I would love to see how you would scape a blown glass driftwood bowl. There quite interesting on their own but I think they would make a cool terrarium or aqua scape.
Thanks. I would like to try one too.
Uau!!!!!
Amazing!!!!!
Thanks
I am in awe of this exquisite creation. Bravo!
Thank you. Glad you like it
Fascinante !!!

👍👍👍👍👍
Your the master. A video listing the plants that can be used via cuttings would be cool. I'm guessing not all live via cutting from mother plant.
Yes not all survive from cuttings. Heres one that does. Thank you

😊👍 I like your craft. I'd like to do some like this but I'm worried about the cork lid going moldy.
Thanks. Cork never gets moldy in my experience. Give it a go.
Thank you for showing us how you make such amazigh terrarium. May I ask you if you think possible to make this with Moss taken with its soil in nature? Thanks again
Yes. Thanks
This' cool
Thanks
So beautiful! A question: I have access to driftwood from the ocean. Will that kill these plants? Is yours from freshwater sources? Thanks!
Thanks. You can use I think. Boil it in water.
@@TheUrbanNemophilist Thanks! Makes sense.
This is surreal. I was wondering how you made the substrate for this? Also how long can the plants live for? I’m not sure how the aquasoil can be replenished. Thank you :)
Thanks. I powdered aquasoil in a grinder and mixed with Sphagnum moss and water to form a paste. Plants can live long with some care and maintenance. Soil need not be replenished. Liguid ferts can be used to replenish nutrients for plants.
@@TheUrbanNemophilist thank you very much
Muito lindo
Thanks
I find it hard for the copper wire to hold on to the weight of the stone haha. Maybe my stone is too heavy
Wood is lighter
