Hi Bhuvana, happy new year! I had a question on how to use the diet fry if the item is not present in the preset menu. Eg: tandoori chicken I know needs to b air fried at 180 degrees for 14 mins atleast. How can I use the diet fry( which I assume is the air fryer replacement) to make dishes which I usually make in the air fryer but doesn't have a inbuilt diet fry menu? Thanks in advance

Hi Komal, Aap kids delight ko press karenege to CF1 aayega. Us samay dial ko ghumane se CF 2,3,4... ko jaake baad mein BA1 mein aayega. Aur ghumane se BA5 aayega. Main bahut jald is auto cook menu ke operation ke baare mein ek video banaaungi. Thanks.

Hello Bhuvna mam. I have same microwave using since 3 years. Please dont mind my question is little off the features...can we use cover for this microwave..?? If yes then pls suggest.
Hi Pooja, actually it is not advisable to use a cover for a microwave as the surface needs open air ventilation for heat dissipation. In case you wish you could cover it when cool but remove the cover out while using. My feeling is that if microwave is going to be used many times a day, you may not find this arrangement convenient. Thanks.

Hello Bhuvana, is it good to buy solo microwave and OTG(for baking) separately. What would you recommend? If yes then which models? I have onida microwave with convection but I want to buy new one

Hi Rohini, very sorry that I missed replying to your query.
If you are going to use microwave for reheating purposes, then you can go for a solo one. And for your baking you could have an OTG.
In microwaves I can recommend LG, Samsung or any other reputed brand.
I do not have knowledge of OTG brands.

Smoke is coming out during Lee heat and also oven is extreme heat outside, can feel plastic burning smell as well.

Sorry for the delayed reply.
You have not mentioned if you keep any container during preheating, because preheating has to be done in an empty chamber.
The smoke coming out could be due to some earlier food particles stuck inside the walls of the microwave oven.
If you are using convection mode you can feel the heat outside and it is quite normal of course this depends on what temperature you have chosen.
I can't say whether the plastic smell is normal though. If this persists please call for service.

Can you tell me, for which recipe you want to set weight?
Weight selection is possible at the 5th step in every auto cook function - 1) stop/clear
2) press the cook function option (diet fry or charcoal or roti basket etc.)
3) turn the dial to select the exact recipe you want
4) press start
5) turn the dial to select the weight
6) press start to start cooking
The 5th step is where you select the weight.
This is given in the manual.
Please check the manual or try following the way i have explained above.
Hope you have understood the method.

If your water is very soft you can skip salt. Otherwise it is better to use salt and keep the salt setting based on your water hardness.

Hi Anwar, this is a microwave oven with additional grill and convection. Convection is the equivalent of OTG.

Madam why didn't you explain grill + convection.
Hi @Siva Smart, there are only two options in combination mode - microwave+grill and microwave+convection. There is no grill+convection option.
Can we switch off the fan on convection mode
Hi Sita, we cannot switch off the fan in convection mode. Once the inside temperature comes down, the fan will automatically shut off.
In spite of the fan running, you can stop and remove the contents from inside.

How to use this microwave to defrost fish and meat?
Sorry for the delayed reply. Somehow I've missed this query.
Do you have the same microwave oven? If so there is an option in the Auto Cook menu under Cooking Aid/Steam Clean. Select the UC3 option for defrosting ½ to 1 kg of non veg food, using a microwave safe Bowl.
In which mode we can cook pizza?
Pizza base is made by baking in convection mode and later after adding the pizza sauce, veggies, cheese etc it is again baked in convection mode.

Hi Amin, which cheese do you use? For pizza it's always better to use mozzarella cheese. It melts better and easily in the convection mode.

And also I have tried mozrella
But my cheese gets dry
Not only in pizza
My garlic bread cheese also gets dry
Cheese doesn't melt and all
Did you try it in the convection mode ?
Before using the convection mode, do you pre heat to the required temperature?
