Great effort Vivek sir... Salute to you... One question regarding option buying... If every thing is ready as per your set up nd you are ready to buy option. Now the question which option to buy, yes deep ITM gives you cushion of lesser time value so price erosion is less but which deep Itm is best to buy... What we need to see in deep itm before buying so that we can take maximum advantage of increase in price in terms of premium increase
Hello Rishi, I know you asked question to Vivek sir, but I thought of sharing my opinion on this. I personally think, When you are buying Index Option, Choosing Strike price is depends on style of trading. If it is positional or Intraday / Scalping.
For Positional it is good if you buy 1st or 2nd in the money or even Deep In The Money & if market moves in right direction, then your strike price becomes more Deep In The Money, which will gives you cushion.
But If you are doing Intraday or Scalping, then Buying At The Money or only 1st In the Money is important, because of Delta.
As ATM & 1st In the Money have 0.5-0.6 Delta. As in Intraday or Scalping you are trading for small moves / less points. & If you are buying Deep In The Money strike price which obviously have 1 Delta, this will make you loose more in one wrong trade. So for Intraday option buying, one need to move as per ATM strike price. And bro I am doing option Scalping and that's why I sharing from my experience.

Jay kept saying that an option which was quoted 100 is now trading a 150, then I would buy it at the pull back around let's say 120. Here, what is the reference point to identify the quoted price as 100, because option price keeps changing over days and every minute. So is it like the day start value where option price was 100 at start of the day, and if now it has reached new high of 150, then you should buy it on pull back around 120?
