I'm so glad that they kept Keala in the song. This will always be her song.
Hannah Gopal YASSSS💖🖤💖🖤
It’s not her song and tbh the original is wayyyyyy better
i agree a whole kween
Alex Tito yeah I agree
Alex Tito keala sang the original 😂
Missy killed it. Kesha & Keala vocals sounds beautiful together. I’m gonna cry
couldn’t agree more!!
If you think Missy Killed it look at re-write the stars with anne marrie and James Arthur. James killed it!
I think my own re-imagined attempt did it more justice even i admit my own aint perfect lol! czcams.com/video/dAtx-pOyauI/video.html

Can I join you lol
“Kick down doors for others to walk through”
Probs my favourite lyric in the song
Mine too. First time i heard = goose bumps
I get goose bumps alll the time to that part too.
I heard the sentence while i was reading your comment lol
When Kesha and Keala start singing together... Oh wow
missy's rap part is the motivation that i need for the whole semester ✨
IKRRRR HAHAHA
😂😂😂
ARMYYYYY
literally, same. ;-;
Whenever university stresses me out, I listen to this.
Missy’s part is phenomenal! She is such a motivational and amazing artist, who has always been overlooked. She deserves so much more recognition
Jordan Bullock So much of Missy’s music in the past has been empowering... listen to Work It and tell me she isn’t motivating everyone out there.
Oh man, those lyrics in the song that are rapped really hit me in my heart. Such powerful words, gave me chills. I really felt those words when they were spoken.
U
Ok, but am I the only one that likes Missy's first verse? Like thats what brought me here tbh.
Sameeeeee
I find it very inspirational, that sent me here too. Fave part of song. 😂
//missy elliot verse 1 //
you can put your mind to do whatever you wanna do,
just tell yourself that your capable too,

you have a purpose,
to make you said “did i do that?” urkel
now we callin’ reality virtual,
this is who i am, this is me,
dont let them words hurt you
Loved it. Only reason I listened to this Reimagined version more than once.
omg same its so inspiring and heart warming and it is basically telling you that no matter what you carry on and do what you want your not the person that people think you should be you are your own person and you carry on no matter what ❤️❤️❤️👍👍
Keala's parts are lovely, kesha's parts are lovely, Missy Elliot's parts are lovely, the whole song is just lovely 😍😍😭😭

So they basically took the original and the pop version and added Missy Elliott to give it that extra OOMPH... I love this so much
it's a re-imagining. :) its so good right!
T-RevMusic omg the like number 😱 666
Kesha: I'm not a stranger to the dark hide away they say I don't won't you brok-
Me: *crying*
0:45 "Kick down doors for others to walk through" -- I love that. The original was incredible, and I can't believe this reimagined version is somehow even more epic. Thank you to all three talented ladies who worked on this!
keala settle's voice always got me crying all over
sarabal_iu At least now I know I'm not the only one
When I first heard this song last year, I was in a really bad rut. I just graduated from uni, started my own business and people that I knew were bashing me left and right for being "stupid" to do this because it does not fit into their mould of "Normal". But listening to this song, at that point in my life, really pushed me to excel and push myself to succeed, to show all the haters, you can't push me down, YOU CAN'T KNOCK ME DOWN! Thank you The Greatest Showman, for one of the most empowering songs I have ever heard. It will forever be engraved into my heart. ;) ❤
I love the soundtrack to The Greatest Showman. This, was awesome. The rap would have been awkward in the movie, but this isn't the movie version, it's a remastered fun version. I'm digging it, and a big fan ☺
Smae
In my opinion, this is the best reimagined song in the album. I felt that. The emotions! The rap lines! It hit me right in the feels!
Sia: The Animation Buisness Is Hell, But When You’re At Pixar, It’s Playful And Beastly And Bubbly And Incredible And Lighting-Fast And Poppe And Always-Reaching-New-Heights And Emotional. But Most Of All, It’s Cheerfully Excitement. 0:14 3:37

Snoopy: EVERYBODY SING ALONG!!! 3:53
When missy rap on the 1st verse i have that weird thought "why this is sound weird?" But then.. when missy rap on the 2nd verse my tears suddenly fall.. why? Its so beautiful!!!
BrendaMyners Couldn’t have said it better myself.
I can't believe this came together so incredibly...soft powerful vulnerable..decisive..terrifying in it's synchronicity.
When I first heard this song, it was the Kesha cover. I had listened to it since I was in a really bad place and then through this song, I found Praying. I've been in love with this ever since. It's been part of my healing. I love Kesha's vocals, Keala's beautiful vocals too, and Missy, oh my god, what a powerful woman, the strongest bitch right there. These three together is a match made in heaven. I encourage to also listen to the Original and the Kesha cover.
Missy has been remaining versatile these past few years. First Diplo & Skrillex ("Take U There"), Fall Out Boy ("Ghostbusters"), Kelly Clarkson ("This Is for My Girls") now the Greatest Showman soundtrack with Ke$ha. This is amazing. Love Missy Elliott, this woman is unstoppable. Awaiting for a long overdue album from her alongside a potential collab shot with Cardi B.
The original is so powerful, this is good but its hard to touch the original. I know it’s reimagined so I’ll take it for what it is.
I feel about the same with all the songs, exception: Pink - A million dreams, that is really good.
@@agnessyworld86 P!ATD too
John Paul Crisostomo yes, that’s good too and James Arthur with Anna Marie also sounds good.
@@johnpaulcrisostomo9523 not feel the same with The Greatest Showman from both P!ATD and Pentatonix. IMO both version lost the wild side from the original song.
@@johnpaulcrisostomo9523 tbh Brendon was better than Hugh in vocals
Didn’t expect the rap part honestly like HOLY SHIT
I thought it was corny
@@luisbarrera2146 honestly, lmao
Didn't expect the rap part? Did you not see Missy Elliot's name on the title? What else would she do in a song?
@@anjiirui2503 exactly what i thought
@@anjiirui2503 ahahahahahahah yesssss that is what I wanted to say to him
That rap was PERFECT. This version blows. Me. Away.
Nothing against Kesha and Missy, but Keala made this song a epic with the original. Is so emotional, sincere and deep meaning. Love u Keala!
Keala is a goddess with that voice. She has such a powerful voice. I found the sound through Kesha and when I saw it was sung by Keala Settle originally, I got all excited because I loved every minute of her in Waitress. Shes is so funny and has such a great voice.
I feel like Keala and Kesha was enough, didn't need Missy Elliott.
Honestly Kesha sounded weird to me :/
I like Kesha’s version the best. I don’t like the other singer.
Hence why the albulm is named Reimagine, it's remixed and sung by other other artists, and adding Missy Elliot is actually good, cause she went through a lot of shit to get where she got. People hated how she dressed, how she looked and everything else. She deserves just as much to be on this song more than anyone honestly.
***trying so hard to play it cool while listening to this and not bust out into song and dance in front of everyone***
I already failed to do that
@@Sara-lb9zh haha!
hahahaha....that's me every damn time

Man! Missy Elliot CRUSHED it on this! This track go hard!
gatime shqiptar..
you can never sing along in the song without tearing up. that's how strong the impact of the song is :')
hfgkasjhg agreed. I'm tearing up for the 38764387th time
I can sing it without tearing up...
this is beautiful. no doubt. i love all of them. but nothing beats the original with just keala. i adore her. every time i hear her come onto this track i start crying.
Some day I will sing this to God and say, " You say I am strong and loved and I believe you !!! Powerful, healing words !
Missy's speech/rap Part actually made me tear up!!! I LOVE this.
I NEED A LIVE VERSION OF THIS VERSION!🔥
I thought it was gonna sound weird with Missy, but it sounds really good 👏🏼👏🏼
The original was already perfect.
MISSY just made it epic. I can listen to this all day with tears.
I don’t want notifications from this comment anymore so I changed it to this
I came here from ur moms house
omg same
same here
Same

The original just gives me so much chills that my chills have chills but MISSY ELLIOT DID WHAT SHE HAD TO DO TO GET THINGS DOES!!! She did that and them some and I am here for it!!! This was beautiful and I’ll take what they gave but yeah uhm the original cannot and WILL NOT be beat. Have a great day 💕
Totally agree!!! Missy killed it - omg her words - chills !!!!!
Missy had to do it to em
Keala somehow screaming the high notes...it does not sound good for me...but other than that she sang it good...
I got chills
@@icefire5264 Lol 😆 jeez 😂 🤣 it's a remimagine
Who would've thought that the original song could get better? I feel empowered. I love this song and this version! It could make you believe in yourself! ✨
augustus jeko nah chief the original is better
Alex Tito agreed, nothings gonna touch the original.
Not a chance this is better than the original
Bryant Sharpley we don’t Stan people in denial😤
Without rap it will be masterpiece. Both Keala and Kesha are powerful belter.
JESUS CHRIST KEALA. Damn powerful woman.
It’s amazing Kesha gets to sing THIS PARTICULAR SONG. It perfectly describes how she rose up from the bad place she was in and it’s beyond incredible. Brought me to tears.
I'm not crying 😢 ... got some tear in my eyes. This is so beautiful
*G O O G L E*
Missy had some inspirational words. Keala and Kesha were awesome also.
Great song!
I’m sure someday I’ll catch them damn ninjas cutting up onions
John Calderon ل
Lol
You won't catch them they are invisible onion cutting ninjas
Right? Those suckers....
Stephanie Czajkoski I know
Kesha is collecting all these wigs she just loves stealing mine though
kesha was literally such a good artist for this song specifically her vocals always kill
You know, I don't like rap that much but Missy Elliot just adds so much to this.
Also, never though an Urkel reference would hit me in the feels.
This version of this song is amazing!!!!!
BTW this version is as much beautiful as the original! I get inspired I love KESHA I was afraid that Missy part could possibly ruin the song but I was wrong her verses are powerful LOVE IT
“Hold it down on my own” 🙌🏾
This is too much perfection for me to handle ❤🧡💛💚💙💜
Ditto
MISSY ELLIOTT IS BETTER THAN DRAKE
Maulana Ma'ruf thats not a massive accomplishment though..
most people are better than drake 🤣
Maulana Ma'ruf Is I

*BIGFACTS BIGFACTS* 🙌🏼
it feels like it's a soundtrack to a moving campaign or something, with that rap part and all.
Missy Elliott 😍💫
SpokenWord Poetry mixed w/ Motivational Vocals! Snap Snap Snap Snap* Here for it in 2023🎊
I think this is the best version of this song by far, I have listened to the original, the reimagined, and this one, and this just hits me harder than the others.
Missy is incredible! 💕
just beautiful! anyone else cried? my feelings have been touched
I just gotta say that as someone diagnosed with severe depression and anxiety, this song just hits me.
Kesha was amazing and Missy laid down some sweet rhymes but Keala brought it all together. I still get chills hearing her sing this song.
kesha’s voice 😭😍🙏🏼
The rap part 😱😱😱
Thats. A. Spirit.
I luv this holy trinity
Who would D A R E dislike this masterpiece >:/
That ending tho making me cry so hard, I can't 😢😭😭😭😭
Anyone in 2020? Also during this pandemic?
This is me
This is we
This is us
We are fighting to end this pandemic! We all unite to help others! THIS IS ME! THIS IS US!
The original version is like so beautiful and adding those new parts makes it just as beautiful
I like how they change the song by putting a rap song and its good! and the part of Kesha was really made my heart cry!
I didnt think this version would be good but it actually is. Its different and I like it
Live performance please in an award showwww!!!!!
This song is AMAZINGLY POWERFUL!!!! Missy, Kesha & Keala's voices just flow & the message of the song is just incredible, from start to finish 😊
One of my favorite verses from Missy is "make you say, did I do that, Urkle" love it, makes me laugh every single time. Family Matters was nust one of the many memorable TV shows from when i was growin' up!!
"We are WARRIORS!!!!"
So..this. Hot damn.
Love the film version..but this version. It blew my mind. Missy's lyrics had me in tears.
Well done.
This song is so inspiring to those who are going through a tough time in life and it has really helped me change the way I think about life and the way I think about myself so thank you Keala Kesha and Missy
Anyone or just me feel the rap part is weird?
yeah I thought so too the tempo/timing seems off to me
I feel that maybe it was more of a motivational speech than a rap.
i don't think its weird, and the timing was alright though. Your ears must have had orgasm maybe. Its beautiful and inspiring .
Weird but not bad
It was well placed for me and I don’t even like rap much.
THIS ONE MADE ME CRY!!!! THIS IS SO POWERFUL
Fav track from the whole reimagined album. So glad I can still hear keala in this bcs I don't think anyone can sing this with so much emotion other than her💓💘💕
The second rap is all I need for all my troubles.
"This is me" is a powerful song. It makes me feel like I am important, I don't care of what other thing of me.
The fact they they brought in Kesha for this song is so symbolic ❤
Dead. I'm dead. So good. I enjoyed both previous versions of This Is Me, but felt Kesha's version was missing depth without keala. To hear them together, and with the incomparable Missy Elliot!! Yas!
My girl kesha 💜
Yasssss
I'm actually glad that keala is a part of this.
I am brave. I am bruised. I am who I am meant to be; this is me 🇨🇦❤️💙
when "don't let them words hurt you" i remember lisa. my angel❤ everytime this song play lisa is in my head.. to lisa, you are perfect. dont let others change your smile. just be you and dont mind those people who want to brinh you down cuz we are here who loves and support you no matter what. they will not succeed of breaking you. we will protect you❤❤❤
No matter how many times I listen to this song, regardless how it's sung, it's always such an inspiration to be myself and be proud of who I am!
I think Keala Settle would be a great person in my life 💕💪
Missys words bring tears to my eyes EVERY TIME
Cried in Missy’s part like omg so motivational, anyone who says doesn’t fit, they don’t really understand music as it is: poetry, not “fitting” or just rythm or musicality.
3:24-4:27 the part where my wig flew
How did they take an already perfect song and make it even MORE spectacular 😍😍😍
Such a inspirational song this song is me best song ever such a strong powerful meaning and truth behind it
I loved the way Kesha sang this song by herself, and I do wish she could’ve hit more of the notes she did, but I still absolutely love this. This whole album is so much better than the original
Goosebumps. Tears. Chills. Amazing.
[Intro: Kesha]
I am not a stranger to the dark
"Hide away," they say
"'Cause we don’t want your broken parts"
[Verse 1: Missy Elliott]
You can put your mind to do whatever you wanna do
Just tell yourself that you capable, too
But don't do things that ain't even cool
And get rid of them no-good friends that’s enablin' you
Makin' you feel like you won't be nothin', your life crumblin'
They talk, mumblin'
You gon' be something, you’re glorious
We’re no gangs, but warriors, we well-known, notorious
They can't stop you or block you or mock you
They mad ’cause you bad and they not you
You fall down, but get up and skip and hop through
Kick down doors for others to walk through
You have a purpose, to make you say, "Did I do that?" Urkel
Now we callin' reality virtue
This is who I am, this is me, don't let them words hurt you
[Chorus: Kesha & Keala Settle]
When the sharpest words wanna cut me down
I'm gonna send a flood, gonna drown them out
I am brave, I am bruised
I am who I’m meant to be, this is me
Look out 'cause here I come
And I'm marching on to the beat I drum
I'm not scared to be seen
I make no apologies, this is me
[Post-Chorus: Kesha & Keala Settle, Keala Settle]
Oh-oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh, oh, oh
[Verse 2: Keala Settle & Kesha]
Another round of bullets hits my skin
Well, fire away 'cause today, I won't let the shame sink in
We are bursting through the barricades
And reaching for the sun (We are warriors)
Yeah, that's what we've become
(Yeah, that's what we've become)
[Pre-Chorus: Kesha & Keala Settle, Keala Settle]
I Won't let them break me down to dust
I know that there's a place for us
For we are glorious
[Chorus: Kesha & Keala Settle, Missy Elliott]
When the sharpest words wanna cut me down
I'm gonna send a flood, gonna drown them out
I am brave, I am bruised
I am who I'm meant to be, this is me
Look out 'cause here I come (Yeah, yeah, yeah)
And I'm marching on to the beat I drum
I'm not scared to be seen
I make no apologies, this is me
[Verse 3: Missy Elliott]
I'm alone, I never fit the mold
The world is so cold, hold it down on my own
I'm just tryna reach up to the sky, see the moon
I got confidence 'cause I'm the flyest in the room
And I been knocked down, but I always get up
I had some fake friends, had to go and switch up
Yeah, no pain, no strain, I ain't chasin' all the pain
'Cause I got more to gain, and I'm just tryna make a change
I'm just doin' me, I'm in my own lane
I fell down a few times, but I'm up again
Marchin' to another drum, see me cross, see me bow
When they thought that I was done, ah nah, here I come
I'm not weak, I get on my feet
No apologies, yeah, this is me
[Bridge: Kesha, Keala Settle & (Missy Elliott)]
And I know that I deserve your love
There's nothing I'm not worthy of (Uh, yeah, yeah)
[Pre-Chorus: Kesha, Keala Settle, Both]
When the sharpest words wanna cut me down
I'm gonna send a flood, gonna drown them out
This is brave, this is bruised
This is who I'm meant to be, this is me
[Chorus: Kesha, Keala Settle & Missy Elliott]
Look out 'cause here I come (Look out 'cause here I come)
And I'm marching on to the beat I drum
(Marching on, marching, marching on to you)
I'm not scared to be seen (Uh, yeah)
I make no apologies, this is me (No apologies, yeah, this is me)
[Outro: Kesha, Keala Settle, Both]
Whenever the world's gone, whenever the world's gone
I'm gonna send a flood, gonna drown them out
Oh, oh, oh, this is me
Im just soo speechless this is more than just a reimagined of the greatest showman. Im in tears
I knew this song was powerful. This is the version I needed in my life
THIS MADE ME CRY WTAF I LOVE THIS
Who else felt like they were competing as to who could sing the best?
This gave me goose bumps!
Missy's lyrics parts so powerful, absolutely perfect
Missy Elliot is just like a queen of rap!
Her part is really awesome!
