I just ordered a new filter bag for it and now I'm wondering if I should check the brushes? Did you install a new motor? How much was that, and is it working like new again?
Yes, I am on my 3rd motor. It was around $80. Find the model number of the old motor and google it, you may not get the exact replacement; however, there are many aftermarket motors available. They seize up over time, possibly from dust in the bearings. I am not sure if the brushes would have lengthened their lives, but I am willing to try.
