They just seem like SO sweet people. Down to earth, respectful of each other, friendly and intelligent. I feel like these are the kind of people you meet somewhere and they give you a smile and warm feeling inside for the rest of the day. So many car dwellers, van living travellers etc seem like they're a bit stand offish and reserved and on CZcams often also loud and setting up a false idyllic view of their life.

I'm a New Orleans girl, love the van life videos. I'm in Mississippi now with my hubby. We don't do this but I love watching the videos for my book characters.

I like how real these two are and that they did the mods to the van on their own and sharing the realness of this nomadic type of living. This is a true account of what it took to capture the same dream as it is inherent in the spirit they share. Which may help others overcome their trepidation to do this and take the leap in living a van life on their own. Not as the 1%er van people who have sponsors that are maintaining and upgrading their van as they travel to all points beyond.
I love how things are really organized, like things are packed in clothes bags!! But then again things seem a bit messy 😂 Guess that's what happens when u live in a small place! What I wanted to say is that I really like how they packed the van with absolute necessities :-)

My first question is always "how do people make a living and survive financially on the road??"
RandomLozicle:I have asked this same question before in similar videos and no one bothers to answer. They must have savings or work on-line.
RandomLozicle It varies from people to people. Some people work online as freelancers or owning their own small business. Others have jobs which require them to travel, making van life preferential. Some get jobs where they are, jacks of all trades working in the towns and cities they drive into.
Kind of depends. I know a couple, they're retired so they can do this traveling and not have to have jobs. Others have freelancer type jobs!
Some of them have money stashed from mortgage they sold. Some of them sell something online. Some of them provide counselling online and get paid few. Some of them work seasonal and save, some of them live off of social assistance for whatever trouble they have, some are retired. I think these are few things
