    The magazune in your Streamline sticks because someone has removed the barrel and then seated it to far in. Try loosening the 3 set screws and pulling the barrel back, install the mag, and reseat the barrel. That should fix your problem.

    I dont even watch this channel that often and even I can tell that these guys are baised towards AirArms! The real competitor for the S510 is actually the Fx Crown VP, which is obviously a much more high-end gun in every way! But it was nice to see that even the Fx Streamline can keep up with the S510!

    I appreciate the honest review of these 3 air rifles. I see many videos reviewing air rifles especially the FX and I really don't see anyone posting the negatives just the positive aspect of that particular air rifle. I do realize FX is a major player when it comes to bench press and hunting. This video is good for the end-user to get a full spectrum on all air rifles especially those top 3. One day I would be interested in getting the BROCOCK, but what keeps me from second-guessing is that they don't really have a great side lover like other brands. I'm sure in the future there will solve that issue to make a much better all-around air rifle.

    Great video content guys! I love these type of open forum comparison videos. Rick and Ben you both provide a lot on integrity to the discussion and the airgun community thanks you. 2 requests. Could you provide the cost of the guns as spec. out for each of these videos. I heard over $1000 dollars but would appreciate pricing rounded off to about the $50 mark for each rifle. I apologize if I missed it. Would love to see more of these videos including rifles of different formats (PCP, break, break repeater, etc.)in the $400- $500 range.

    I watched with interest as I have an S510 Carbine, FX Dreamline Classic and an older Brocock Concept, all in .22. The new design FX mags are easier to load, but not as simple or quick as the AA mags, and they certainly shouldn't stick. My Brocock has a third party aftermarket mag that converts it from a single shot to a seven shot, which works but isn't quick to use (you cock it, manually rotate the mag, then push the bolt home). The Dreamline has the smoothest sidelever, the S510 has one that's almost as nice, and the poor old Brocock doesn't have a sidelever (move a release lever and the bolt springs part way back, then you grasp the button on the end and pull until it clicks, then you push it home). The Dreamline is the most accurate, but I've no complaints about either of the others. All three love JSB 18.13gr pellets, which is convenient. I've chronographed them with JSB 25.39gr pellets,, H&N 25gr slugs, the JSB 18.13gr and Premier 14.3gr pellets. Muzzle energy is maximum with the 18.13gr, which makes another reason to stick with them. Of the three, if I could have only one, it would be the FX. It's only drawback is that is the noisiest by far, and I'm not allowed a moderator where I live. When the DreamLite conversion kit comes out I'll have external hammer spring adjustment, and I suspect it will be quieter and use less air when I can make sure the valve closes before the pellet exits the muzzle.

    It's too bad that you don't use the Ataman m2r in the shootout video. With the big push of popularity with the fx line, r&d for the other rifle lines and brands suffer from add-on aftermath parts and builds.

    Considering the price point, the fx coming in at just barely above 1000. I would consider the fx the clear winner. Unless you are in love with the aesthetics of the AA the 500 difference is kinda hard to justify when they shot just as well.

      Uh no it’s not lol, from what I’ve read lately of owners all over the inter-webs FX is like a BMW with reliability, they have a lot of little things that can and will fail.
      Daystate seems to be nice but high end ones being made of all electronic components is a weak point for sure, as a survival rifle for instance if a EMP hit cause mass panic all the day states boards would fry like bacon, now the AA S510 XTRA FAC is out of this line up the most reliable and accurate.
      Just my opinion since I already own a .25 Cal AA S510 Xtra FAC I’m looking to buy either a FX or Daystate/BROCOCK seeing as there the same company, will see either way love these guys and what they do for are niche community 😄👍🏻

    Match pellets to each gun, then start again if you are going to put accuracy into the mix, because those pellets in that particular Brocock were piss poor, have seen first time kids do better groups than that !!!

    • @ShootingGearReviews
      @ShootingGearReviews  Před 5 lety

      We have tried MANY different pellets in each of these guns and they all did best with the JSBs. This was at 75 yards. ... I would be verry suprised to see better groups from novice shooters at that distance. Have you ever shot the Brocock Bantam at 75 yards? If not you shouldn't comment on things you know nothing about!!!

    • @hunter100t
      @hunter100t Před 5 lety +2

      @@ShootingGearReviews I have been shooting my Bantam for 2 years now in .177, and I can tell you either your pellets are wrong or you are not the expert when it comes to shot placement. mine doing 18 ftlb with air arms 8.44 will put the whole mag under a thumb tip at 80 yards and under 8 mil at 50, even my 12 ftlb version will do that at 50 and 12 mil at 70, so its not down to power, but skill. but then its an easy gun to do it with. and yeah I've seen unskilled kids putting decent groups down with the 12 ftlb version, of coarse they couldn't do it with a springer but lets be honest its a pcp, it aint hard for a novice. and lets not forget what won your EBR recently, Christ are you paid for this shit !

    • @ShootingGearReviews
      @ShootingGearReviews  Před 5 lety

      Nope this isn't sponsored. Our bantam is the short barrel... Is yours the long? It was the long barrel version that won at EBR last year. I get that you are a fan of Brocock they are nice guns. And maybe the model we have is defective in some way but you could watch the shots track all the way to the target and some shots would just fly in strange directions. Of course you get some "amaizing" results with yours but where are your videos to show for it?

    • @hunter100t
      @hunter100t Před 5 lety

      @@ShootingGearReviews Not really in to the video scene, made one a few years back and been in a few of somebody else's, it takes away from what I am actually doing, pest control. only my FAC one has the longer barrel while the 12 ftlb one has a 18 inch job with an air stripper inside the shroud. could be yours is over powered maybe for that length of barrel or its a lemon, but trust me Brocock are not known for spraying the target. not a huge fan but liked the look of this Bantam and all my other guns are mostly HW and the now defunct Theoben. results like mine are pretty standard with the Brocock as you can see all over UTube and the clubs around Britain. not really having a go pal but could see something was off. atb.
