Did you guys plan to catch them out like that, or was it mostly blind luck. RedFor was planning on AAA to mark your arrival and that didn't work.
@@veespike timing was luck and brilliant navigation (as you hear in a debrief), we had planned from the get-go to come in quick and low...it just worked out in the end

That would be a Spanish licence built 109 known as a Hispano Buchon. Usually what you see used in films to represent a real 109 as there are several still flying. Most notably in the 1968 film Battle of Britain. Those examples all still exist. The Spanish also licence built Heinkel 111 bombers. Manufacturer was Casa. You guys need to do a little more general research! 😊

Perhaps this needs revisiting with the addition of two or three Mosquito's for the bombing part. Close fighter escort to deal with the 109' and 190's?
Still it was a great mission. Adolf is dead and Cap gave up, landing at Manston to surrender lol.

The technique describing the recommended range for shooting is great if you have a centerline mounted armament. If you have a wing-mounted armament the technique is different, then you have to shoot at the range machine guns bullets or cannon shells converge.

Brilliant end to an amazing campaig., I love the warbirds. I'm a little sad to see them put on hiatus right when GR started getting the hang of dogfighting and tactics i.e. fighting warbirds like warbirds and instead of fighting warbirds like jets. Compliments on the kills Squirtle. Well done.
