FAU Graduation ceremony 2019

For young scientists, completing the doctoral thesis after many years of work is a very special event that deserves to be duly celebrated. Therefore, on 12 October 2019, FAU paid tribute to all its students who received their doctorate 15 years ago (2004), 25 years (1994) and 50 years (1969).
On the eve of the anniversary, FAU honored its jubilarians with a festive dinner. The oldest doctorate celebrated was 65th doctoral jubilee. On the whole, the FAU welcomed around 240 jubilarians as well as 140 new doctoral graduates, who traveled from all over the world, for example from the USA, Poland, Ireland, France, Switzerland or Austria.
