I'm beginner but I have plenty of time. My biggest issue is that I get tired after one hour of practice. What works best for me is breaking my practice in smaller sessions. So I'll do one hour in the morning and another one in the afternoon. It also makes it easier to keep focused for this long...
thanks a lot for this tips!

    •  Před 3 lety

Fabio Dantas ah yes! I was thinking to add “breaks” during the editing but I totally forgot! I recommend to take a 5 min break after every 20 minutes to have a more efficient practice session 😊 & You’re very welcome!

What I do is divide my practice with short 5-10 minute breaks and 2-3 hours will go by fast. I practice for about 30 minutes and then take a short break. Example: warm-up for 30 minutes with long tomes and short exercises (break), studies for 30 minutes (break), pieces for 30 minutes (break), orchestra selections for 30 minutes (break), fun repertoire that I enjoy most.

Video was really helpful, thank you!

I was practicing “at least” 4-5 hours a day ehen I was a student. It could go up to 8 hours 🥲 Now I practice from 2 to 4 hours except the rehearsals. It depends on what I’m working for :) & you’re welcome !

Merhabalar Selin Hocam. Oğlum şu an 9 yaşında ve klarnet eğitimi alıyor.
