Lol I.remember going to see them on acid myself in the mid-sized late 80' s in Planet X .Imagine trying to get this video approved today people with black make up..it would cause a riot😳😳I used to love the electo/psychedelic resurrection that came out the 80' s ..there were some brilliant bands who largely went unnoticed .

I am eternally grateful to Billy Joel for playing this clip when he guest programmed RAGE in 1991. This clip is timeless. :)

If you were unkind you could say they were a bit late. I guess they were too young to start in 1978 as a new wave act, but their talent is obvious from this amazing video. It always makes me cry with laughter.

First saw this clip on RAGE I videotaped as a kid would have been on at 2 am. Watched it long enough to have the tune stuck in my head with all the other useless crap in there.
    Love it!!

Tremendous guitar. Tremendous bass. A stage show that out does the Stooges or the MC5. Too bad the record companies didn't promote them.

If there ever was a clearer example of how the Youth Of Today robbed themselves (and the rest of the world, in the process) of practically any chance of having some truly new, fresh, fundamentally edgy n relevant, possibly even revolutionary contemporary music... Just imagine this album being published today, some 35 years later :))

If Gaye Bykers On Acid started 20 years later with this clip, they'd have been slaughtered and boycotted by the music industry within a week. Blackface FTW!!

Some 35 years later, this is still one of my favorite albums of all time. The fact that I am commenting on a comment posted 10 years ago is wonderful.
