    Local breed if well fed can start laying at 4-5 months and feed consumption lower compared to exotic and they are more resistant to diseases because they are attacked by the the outbreak you cannot lose all compered to and in indigenous breeds you buy chicks once then you start hatching your self compere to exotic breeds where you have to order every after two years

      That's the downside of ordering exotics but fro experience I prefer exotics
