Any info on why there are armed soldiers all over the place? I was in Rome less than a week before you filmed this and I saw armed soldiers inside pretty much every station I went to.
They are 'strade sicure' soldiers of Italian army. They are in the biggest stations (as termini, tiburtina, piramide, colosseo, spagna, lepanto, ottaviano, policlinico, bologna, E.U.R.) and in the most crowded places of Italy main cities
Rome metro ticket machine steal money sometimes. You put money and some of them don't spit out tickets. I asked the staff at the office and they asked me to call the central office...staff are very lazy and not helpful at all.
