I built in 2018 and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. I also own the land so having the soil checked, was extremely important to me, had a prayer done because with the history of the south, had to make sure no past was on my land. I wasn’t bitchy but I didn’t settle and stood my ground. So proud and excited for you. I wouldn’t show anything until the end especially with how social media is these days.
Hope she sees this. That's a good idea having a prayer for the land.

My husband and I purchased our first home when I was 25 I’m 27 now and i can honestly say it was one of the best decisions! We used to drive past our property everyday until we moved in 😂 congratulations Dearra can’t wait to see the move in vlog!
I would’ve been driving by everyday too if not me my husband sure would. We drive by houses being built now
ADVICE: as a realtor I highly recommend you hire a reputable home inspector to check the builders work. New builds are put up quickly and shortcuts are sometimes made that will cost you $$$$ in the future. Congratulations 🎊 on your first purchase super excited for you
Completely agree, she should definitely hire an outside realtor/attorney as well. My friend got a new build and it was a disaster.
Congratulations D! I built my first house last year as well at the age of 27. Had my daughter along with me the whole process so she can witness it all. I believe I’m the youngest home owner in my community, with the one of the biggest homes out here! Young black women, we can do this!

Congrats to you young lady, I built my home when I was 29. Watching this brings back memories. It's a grand experience that you will never forget. I still remember the entire process like it was yesterday. I remember going to the design studio also and that was my favorite part during the process and in your video. There is nothing like building your home from the ground up , in a new development and having it brand new. A home that is brand new that no one has ever lived in or occupied. Brand new!
