God, this lifted me up from my depression today.
Many people act like cancer is contagious and literally disappear when they hear the word. Bless her brains and humanness. She's the antidote for the blues
I wish her a full recovery. Bless this woman for helping and her dedication to a stranger. Having been through cancer and taking myself to all of my treatments after having no rides and needing to work...I learned that
The American cancer society has specific volunteers for this exact situation. If no volunteers are available, they’ll fund and send an Uber to drive you both ways.
I told a neighbor who found out she had cancer about the ACS will arrange rides.
She's an angel! Such light in dark times!

What's wrong with our communities when everyone NEEDS a car?
Lynn, if you're reading this by any crazy chance, I just want you to know that I think what you do is incredibly admirable and brave in this dangerous world we live in. I have Type 1 Bi Polar disorder as well, with rapid cycling mania. Before I was diagnosed and put on medication, i would shoplift for absolutely no reason. Ive been a firefighter/paramedic for 15 years, and if I'd have gotten caught, that would have been rhe end of my career. Luckily, it was caught at the beginning of my career, and I dont get those grandiose ideas that I'm invincible and am immune to being arrested anymore. It is truly my passion to be of service to others, and I just wanted you to know that youve inspired me to do exactly what you're doing when I retire sometime in the next 10 years. I was a bone marrow donor, too. Found out later on that it was a 10 year old boy from Canada. I am in the U.S. Sadly, I found out that he passed. I don’t regret it, and maybe my donation gave him some more time.❤

She talked about being arrested and that she felt shamed that she could act so awful that she would be arrested. I don’t think our prisons would be as full if more people thought like that.
There’s a sheriff in FL. who arrested a married man for being a child predator. His wife was naturally appalled at learning this because she spent her life working as a child advocate for kids who were sexually assaulted. I think that’s what they said she did. Something protecting kids from being preyed upon.
