- As a part of us assessing whether the shelter dogs can room mate together in the rooms we have (two in each room), we made it positive and a little fun by taking them on a road trip to drive through.
Chance and Neveah and Molly with Rosco.
Small confined space, food shared, no personal space …
AND … they did so well. Enjoyed it too.
Poor Chance, the scars of his previous life all over his beautiful face, what a lovely boy he's turned into, you have done such a wonderful job with them all.
Those scars !!!! It hurts to see them. But now chicken nuggets and look how gentle he takes them.

@@gojibebe I feel the same way about Chance's facial scars. Can't even imagine how they came to be. Now he gets to "go for a ride!" and get fed chicken nuggets out of Luke's hand! So happy for that dear boy.

Hi Cathy, from a DDFT fan in Texas. Yes, poor Chance captured my heart as well. He has had so much to overcome, and just look at him now! Such a sweet boy. I must admit I shed a few tears during this video, seeing these two doggies living a much better life thanks to everyone at the Farm.💕💕💕💕💕

We always know people who have children they blow on the food to cool it, even do it for the dogs. Done it myself, memories are flooding back😂

Simply brilliant. Never seen Neveah so calm. We all know you have to pick your roommates carefully and you’re already anticipating the potential hitches and Rosco’s DIY tendencies. The love and time you dedicate to these 4 dogs is amazing but doesn’t surprise me.❤

Absolutely agree, Lisa. I keep thinking of their arrival to the farm, how frightened (and frightening) they were. Luke was sure he was going to get bit! I don't think he ever did though. And now, to see the four of them just chilling in the car, sharing boatloads of nuggets with their training mates and having a great road trip with Uncle Luke and Aunty Sam! I know their rehab pace is not as fast as the previous shelter doggos, but they will get there, I know they will. Thank you SO MUCH for saving these four souls!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thank you so much for letting us see Chance, Nevaeh, Roscoe and Molly again. I keep worrying about them...nothing to do with the farm and all you are doing for them..it's all on me. Please someone give each of these dogs a life they deserve...one filled with love and happiness. ❤️❤️❤️
Kevin. I think we get invested in these beautiful dogs so by nature for most of us we want them to be happy and healthy. If anyone can give them a "Chance" @ their forever homes,it's Luke and staff at DDFT. They have come so far and I'm sure will prosper even more under Luke's amazing guidance and training.
Sadly some dogs have been so traumatized they are never able to integrate into a home, but I truly believe they will find their forever families because they will have had the best training in the world by DDFT. Keep the faith. 💜🐶❤️
I was feeling down today then this video appeared and shot my spirts to infinity and beyond. I have Chances twin here in cali. Id take him in a min. 😎

You just never know who might be reading the comments and may be perfect for one or more of these beautiful dogs. Fingers crossed my friend...yep we for sure must keep the faith :-)

What I love is the fact that Chance sat down nicely for his nuggets and Nevaeh just wanted them all.
Chance has the most wonderful manners, so gentle when he takes food. And Neveah is such a cutie and her eyes when she looks at all that yumminess is awesome. They definitely enjoyed all those wonderful smells. Love Rosco's crazy eyes....lol. Sweet Molly, her tail going a 100 while having her ice cream was just so funny. Crazy puppies....lol. So awesome to see them all learning new things, going new places and enjoying those nuggets.
They are all so well behaved in the car and curious about their surroundings looking out the window. They truly love Luke to bits. And so sweet with each other. Sam I didn’t realize what a pushover you are. Who cares if they wreck the furniture.😂😂❤️❤️
Compare this with the first videos of these dogs!!! Unbelievable!!! Except of course, they were lucky enough to go to the farm…. WONDERFUL!! 🏆💐🥳🤩❤️

Have to tell you my grand furbaby is a staffy also called Chance, also black and white. He was a rescue found in the middle of nowhere, starving, bad teeth and a with a bad skin condition. My son was a cat person (4 cats), never had a dog and was just accompanying a friend to the shelter. Well the rest is history.

Today I saw Chance' s scarred face for the first time. Who would not be completely out of bounds after what he must have experienced. Luckily he is now with Luke, Sam and the DDFT-Team. No one would take better care of him.

Hi Claudia! The book I tried to send to you, Pierre Berton's "Why We Act Like Canadians" showed up in my mailbox, returned, a couple of days ago. It had a sticker and stamp from Germany...it got there, but I think it wasn't wrapped quite well enough, so they sent it back. The paper wrapping was ripped. I'm sorry you didn't get it, it's pretty good. Hope your summer is peaceful, and that you're enjoying it. Best wishes from Ottawa. 🙂
@@saraseale2364 Ohhh the German Custom and Border Patrol, they are always something else. Perhaps we have "blue week" and they accept only packages wrapped in blue paper. But I am very impressed they sent it pack to Canada.

What a transformation from day one. Thank you for the time and effort you have put in to save them from being euthanised. Touches my heart when I see the progress they have made.
Chance is such a gentleman. He needs a bandana that looks like a tuxedo shirt with a black bow tie. Nirveya is also very nice with hand feeding but with a little “thank you, don’t mind if I do”. They have come a long way since you first got them.
Roscoe is funny. “I’m a Chihuahua I fit anywhere…” Molly seems mellow, unsure, but a little laid back. She does not want to make a mistake. They are both also doing well.
All older adopted dogs have some baggage but the best part with any dog that comes from your farm and proper training for both the dog and the new owner…makes a fabulous combination. These dogs deserve better than what they had. Thank you Luke and Sam….

Niveah's face is so much like the face of my emotional support dog Nessy, when she was alive. I rescued Nessy as a puppy, the afternoon before she was to be put to sleep. She was that caramel colour, a Staffy cross kelpie with the Staffy head and shoulders with the kelpie butt.
We had 15 beautiful years together. Thankyou for giving these dogs a chance, they deserve to live full and happy lives. Blessings, Dot (from South Eastern Australia between Canberra and the coast)

It’s hard to believe these 4 sweet faces ever growled at each other and had problems with social issues. They had so much fun watching out the window and having the feast of their lifetime. So sweet of you two to take the time out of your busy schedules to do this for these pups. You are amazing.🐶🐶🐶

Luke, Sam, the family and everyone at the Farm bring out the natural desire for companionship and loyalty in the dogs and Chance, Neveah, Molly and Rosco, each one of their lives is a tribute to bringing the best of man and dog together. My two pittie girls love their joy rides with mama. First we hit Sbux for pup cups then McD’s or KFC. They are such good girls, both rescues. Love them to pieces!

What a wonderful treat for the fab four. Most if not all of them have probably never gone for a ride before without being in a cage. And then the drive thru, for Chance and Neveah, by the time they got to Red Rooster, it was "I'm loving this drive thru thing!" And Roscoe seems to be the real ice cream afficianado. I must confess, I'm in love with Chance, that boy is so sweet.❤❤ And to think back to that very first day, where they were all barking and growling at everything. What an amazing transformation, all thanks to the Evans' magic and DDFT staff. Thanks for saving these precious four. Bless you!❤❤🙏🙏🐾🐾🌴🌴

We used to take our dog, Bagel, to a place called Carvel's. She would get soooo excited to go get ice cream....in the car! She would lick that ice cream with her eyes closed in ecstasy! Thanks for the memory!!❤️

After seeing what Chance&Nevaeh ate I had🤞you wouldn’t have a chicken mess to clean up! 😄 Molly was was quite anxious but quickly relaxed & enjoyed the outing💕 The 4 dogs are such gentle eaters & so affectionate🥰 Wouldn’t be first time you’ve had exploding furniture😂😂
Team Chance here! Freddo has his bow ties, how about some bandanas for Chance? Also, it was great seeing Molly finally relax a little. I think with more training she and Shadow could be good 'mates'. Niveah and Roscoe were also calmer than I've seen them, maybe their seat-mates (and future roommates) are good influences.

What a treat for the four of them. To have Luke and Sam to themselves, to be able to hang their heads out the windows and smell new smells, to see new sights, to eat delicious nuggets and cones. And Sam buys new beds to sleep in. Wonderful day trip!
I just can't wvwn describe how this makes me so happy to see all 4 of these dogs so happy and loved and loving. Chance particularly. He was so grateful for the fun food and the road trip. He's so polite and gracious. He's a heartbreaker that one 🥰😉♥️ he's got his battle scars, and probably lots more underneath that don't show, but don't we all? He's such a loveable big squishy cuddle bug. He will make some family a perfect lap dog ♥️
And Molly my goodness! She looked a little stressed out at first but then she relaxed and figured you're not going to abandon her, you're going on a food adventure! 😋 she's a beautiful dog. As they all are.
I do hope they all do well when they're moved to the bedroom accommodations, and I hope not too many furniture explosions happen! 🤣

I love the all DDFT videos, but my heart bursts with happiness watching everything about the dogs you rescue. The best bits on these videos is the pride, happiness and pleasure in Sam’s & Luke’s face when each dog reaches a new milestone. ❤️❤️

This video made me tear up over and over for so many reasons. To remember back when they all arrived at DDFT in such poor shape both physically and psychologically and then today seeing them paired up, getting along, going on a car ride for nuggets and ice cream is truly so remarkable. Seeing Sweet Chances scarred little face thinking what he has endured is tough to reconcile, but to see him so kind,loving and to honest grateful. Him putting his paw on Luke is pure love from a dog and he knows he's accepted.
Molly, roscoe, and neaveh were so happy too and loved their outing.
Luke and Sam, we all say it over and over but honestly I've not seen more loving individuals as both of you. You truly found each other for a true calling, to give our 4 legged friends a chance at the life they so richly deserve along with having a beautiful family and amazing staff.

Seeing the shelter dogs get to do this was just beautiful..... They have come that far.... Poor Chance bares his Pre farm story on his face, but it just makes him much more endearing.... He was also so gentle with the food.... They all did so well considering that was the first time... Onwards and upwards!!!

Road trips with Uncle and Aunty! Doggie heaven at McDonald's! Chance and Roscoe are large fellows. Noticed at time stamp 14:00 or so Nevaeh giving Chance the side-eye when eating; was she starved in her former life, maybe? Molly looks like the smallest of the foursome.
