- I review the meat church rubs and witch one is good.
I first heard about the Meat Church line of BBQ rubs and seasonings through there youtube channel. where it is popular.
Meat Church rubs are available in 12 ounce. At $9, that is a bargain. They also sell 1 and 5 pound packages for heavy users and competition cooks.
Overall, the Meat Church line up of barbecue rubs is a winner. They have a good balance of sweet and heat that is perfect for the back yard or as a flavor layer for competition meats. They are also reasonably priced. These rubs are available through Meat Church's website, check them out.

Just got all 8 seasoning, and your video was awesome. It was very helpful. Love the Jordan pippin reference
Thanks for the info, I go through all kinds of seasonings and rubs
Thank you so much bro. Love your honesty. Watched your vid in front of all the seasonings and made my selection after your vid with confidence đ
Glad I could help
Great review. Iâve been using the traeger rub. Will check this out.
I ended up buying the gospel whenever I bought that. It was alrightâŠa little heat to it. I used the last of it today, mixed it with some Weber Kansas City and some gunpowder we had just so I could coat all 3 racks of ribs. Iâll have to get some of the others and give them a try.
Iâm going to give them a try. Thanks.
Great review, I love these products as well, especially the Holy Cow. Great analogy with Jordan and Pippen! :)
Thank you.
Im using these now and enjoyed this video. Thanks!
Iâm glad Iâm able to help
Nice reviews, i love the black one all purpose run for ribs! Ordered another and bout the other flavors too! Only one I need now is the honey hog, you should review the Kosmos rubs and glaze ribs sauce! đđœ
I have heard a lot of people saying they like that one for ribs. Maybe I should give it another try.
Great video, thatâs so interesting cause the one you like the least is the one I like the most lol. My family loves The Gospel seasoning. Thank you for the video
I bought the gospel and itâs my new favorite. Just added holy voodoo and gonna try that next but so far, Iâm a fan of meat church rubs
Just what I was looking for, thanks brother.
Iâm glad I can help.
Wife and I love the Meat Church rubs (and all his smoking videos). A few guests have commented the Fajita rub is on the salty side...
Yea you canât go wrong with meat church bbq rubs. I did some chicken with the fajita rub and it didnât seem salty. In the other hand I didnât add a lot because it was my first time and I wanted to test it out.
So far I have all those rubs too and theyâre great rubs, my favorite chicken go to is Yard Bird. I use to but How to BBQ right rub but for some reason they no longer carry it at ACE ( one of our local ACE looks more like a BBQ store than a ACE Hardware )
I havenât tried yard bird yet. I smoke a lot of chicken so I should give it a try.
Good review. I like meat church better than any other rub and I have tried a lot of them. The gospel is awesome though! Especially on ribs
I havenât tried that on ribs but I will now
Awesome review! You saved me some money thanks!
Iâm glad I can help.
Bearded Butchers have some great rubs also, love the one with coffee on beef.
Iâm curious to try the coffee rub.
Lol I just watched the endings as I commented that you didnât like the one that was my favorite lol! I like the sweetness it gives off
I support your channel man! Nice vid ill give these a try
Thank you. I really appreciate your support.
I tried holy voodoo and was super impressed thanks for the video will try the holy cow next for sure!
What does holy voodoo taste like?
I have an assortment of Meat church and Traeger, as well as a few others. Thanks for the review!
Have you tried Kosmos bbq rub?
@@BeginnersBBQ No, I was kind of waiting for you to get some and review! Lol. Right now, Iâm team Meat Church.
@@garykennedy5263 hahaha đ€Ł. Well Iâm actually looking at them right. Thinking of getting a bundle.
@@BeginnersBBQ well let me or us know. Itâs supposed to be a good product. But there are so many rubs out there. My spice cabinet is only so big!
@@garykennedy5263 yea Iâm trying to decide what rubs because they have a lot. But once I get it I will do a review.
Can you do a Goya seasoning review? There are so many to choose from
My wife got me the whole set. Appreciate the review
Glad I can help.
Cheers my friend đ»

I mostly use Meat Church myself.... I keep extra bottles of Holy Cow... I primarily use VOODOO on chicken along with The Gospel r The Holy Gospel... Honey Hog on ribs by itself r a combination of a lite coating of VOODOO followed by Honey Hog..VOODOO & HOLY GOSPEL is good together in my opinion... Never tried the FAJITA r HONEY HOG HOT yet..
I didnât really liked the holy gospel but I might give it another try.
I have most of them, you are right !! Holy Cow is the best, I just got the new Blanco for steaks , I love the Voodoo also
The best
So the only rub ive bought was the gospel. Besides the nice color it gave i was very disappointed that i was afraid to buy any other. After watching your vids, i really want to try your others. Might buy holy cow, honey hog hot, and fajita now. Thanks!
Iâm glad I can help.
I use the voodoo on everything .. its awesome
Just bout some of the meat church rub at his grand opening today, doing wings tomorrow canât wait.
I find the fajita seasoning a touch salty. I use it lightly
I picked up a couple of these the holy cow is the one I thought for pork butt would be top im going to try it in the morning
Holy cow is a good choice for that pork butt.
Iâm thinking of buying the big pack on the website. Instead of traeger rub
Holy Voodoo is hands down my favorite Meat Church rub! My Fiance hates the Holy Cow so I dont get to use it. Honey Hog is our 2nd favorite. Everyone has a different choice for their favorite which means they are all really good.
Can go wrong with any of the rubs.
đđđ„©Thank you very much for sharing your advice!!!đ
Really wanted the Texas Sugar but it didnât come in a bundle I liked. So I ended up getting Holy Cow, Honey Hog BBQ, and Holy Gospel as a bundle. Just gonna get the Texas Sugar separately
Canât go wrong with those.
great video brother !!
Thank you
Bro what are you using to put yourself on your thumbnails?
I use 2 apps.
1. Photo room: to cut my self out
2. Canvas : for the thumbnails
@@BeginnersBBQ thanks bro!
@@GrillandSmokeBBQ no problem
The Holy Gospel with the baby blue label's killer. It's very different from the Gospel AP. That one's good too though.
The Gospel is good with chicken. Add a heavy coat. then add some Voodoo for a little heat.
They have one called the holy gospel-have you tried it?
I love holy voodoo and just picked up the honey bacon.
FYI if you get the Holy Cow and The Gospel and mix them 1:1 - you automatically get "The Holy Gospel" just a tip. So if you had only 3 to get Voo Doo, Holy Cow, and Gospel. The rest are w.e.
Wow I will try that
Have you tried Holy Gospel and if so whatâs your take on that?
I did try it, but out of all the meat church rubs that one was my least favorite. Iâm going to give it another try with another cook and see if I still feel the same.
Kinda bummed. A friend recommended Meat Church, and after watching that, I ended up buying their All-Purpose rub (which cost north of $10).
Yea I really didnât like there all purpose rub. Try out there holy cow Bbq rub.
Dude get the holy cow for beef. Holy voodoo for pork
My local Ace Hardware store carries all Meat Church rubs and spices...no ordering needed.
Wow lucky
I love holy voodoo on ribs and gospel on whole chicken
holy gospel is great too!
There a few more rubs of them that I need to try out.
Meat Curch has 10 Rubs and 3 Gourmet Rubs.
Good info; Iâm liking the MC bbq rub & Gospel, getting the Fajita next.
Have you gave Kosmoâs Q rubs Dirty Bird Hot and Cow Cover Hot a try?
Maybe you do a comparison challenge one day soon? đ
I havenât tried Kosmos bbq rub yet, but Iâm about to out a order in. I like your idea on doing a comparison.
Kosmo has some good products but I quit doing business with him couple yrs ago. Shady business practices. Got caught false advertising too. Meat Church very similar. Mats a good honest guy. Canât go wrong.
@@rueridge7597 wow I didnât know that
Try chupacabra seasoning. The best.
I looked it up. Looks good. I will order it and do a review on it.
Good stuff. Been around for years.
@@BeginnersBBQ chupacabras Brisket Magic is đđœđđœ
Wich Chupacabra is the best for you ?
Right on dude... I agree with you and disagree. My least favorite is the fajita rub. Just way too salty for me. I think the black label gospel is great on pork and chicken. holy voodoo is amazing on burgers. But the holy cow is by far the best one overal... For sure.
Yea a lot of people say fajita is too salty.
Meat Church has some awesome products and all have their place but you are missing Holy Gospel and in my opinion that is one of the main rubs. I use them all along side Kosmo Q products
Iâve been looking at Kosmos bbq rubs and especially there glaze sauces. I will check out there Holy Gospel.
Kosmo Q if you like chicken wings try his wing dust they are awesome on veggies and all kinds of stuff
@@lancenichols9365
Kosmos is a bum. Used a lot of his stuff for yrs. But canât abide his shady business deals. False advertising ingredients too.
@@BeginnersBBQ Cherry Habanero is a good one especially on ribs. But not spicy at all
The Voodoo rules.
The Holy Cow has a lot more pepper in it than the others
Yea it does.
Get you a Char-Griller gravity fed 980. It will change your life
Iâve looking at them on CZcams. I like what I see
They have a honey hog bacon now, and deez nuts pecan flavor
Say what!!!!!!!!!!!! I need to try that.
Holy Gospel is the truth.
Good for chicken ?
Voodoo seems their best, the rest I just cant get good flavor out of... Do I need to be really liberal?
Everyone has there own taste and what they like.
Email them they will change it for you they did for me same as well as bearded butchers all great companies
Putn this out there but Dancing Pigs bbq rub is good in hamburger meat...jus sayin
If you're going to buy just one, get the Holy Cow for sure.
Iâve tried 3 holy gospel holy voodoo and holy cow
Holy cow is hands down my favorite
Iâm going to try the honey hog.
Get Honey Hog Bacon đ„. Good on ribs
@@rueridge7597 I ordered that one. Should be here soon
Is Meat Church a BBQ Religious group?
all 8)
You don't have Holy Gospel. Is it a combination of Holy Cow and The Gospel?
No but I do want to give it a try.
Meat church send you the hook up?
No I wish. They donât even know about this channel đ
@@BeginnersBBQ I do know. đđ

Holy voodoo all day
Voodoo
Yup I didn't like the gospel
Some people say to try it on chicken. I donât know but I might try it one more time.
