Well done you , as a Bof W local , now living in sunny London , that was nice to see . omg , I miss Holmes the butchers , and Anderson's the bakers , f great home made Scotch pies , sigh . ❤😮😊
There is a waterfall behind all the trees on bridge of weir road opposite burndale workshop. You used to be able to see it from the viewpoint but all the trees have grown over.
@@teccmedia2713 Thanks very much, I'll have to pay it a visit. I knew of the other one but I had no idea one as pretty as the one shows existed. Many thanks for the reply and great video!
Do you have any footage of the area known as 'the potholes' which are around the middle of the village? Used to swim and dive their as a kid before I moved away from Scotland. Would love to see them again (although I believe that the smaller of the two potholes was filled in with rocks).
I dont, but as soon as the weathers not shite (which could be a while knowing scotland) I will get out and fly around there. It was the bridge next to the hairdressers and you could jump off the bridge or the pipe If I remember right.
Was a bit further down from the bridge, just after where the river is dammed. There was a salmon run on one side which ran into the big pothole. The small deep pothole on the other side got filled in with big rocks, years after I left I believe.

@@chefscottmcmillan3565 hi Scott, yes I believe we were both at Gryffe High around the same time.
@andrewkingsland I can remember you well
What a beautful video of Bridge of Weir . Music is crap unnecessarily so, It’s detracting from your video and quite annoying.
yeah , agreed , it's generic music you hear on loads of vids online : bagpipes would do nicely .
