You say that during total eclipse the sky is dark and some stars and planets can be seen - I am liucky to have witnessed that, and ever since, my question is why does the moon going between Earth and the sun make the sky dark behind the ball sun, where those stars are? Hmmm!

I saw totality in 2017 up in the GA mountains. It was amazing and they were having a fun party at that place and they handed out the glasses and fun moon pies .. was really a good time. Probably staying in Florida this time, but going to check it out.
Maybe there will be some watch parties.
2045 might not be alive. If anyone can see it this time.. worth the effort
