This song is so incredible. The first time I heard it was on Easter Sunday about 25 years ago. Now, at Christmas time, I am remembered that we celebrate the birth of our Savior only so that He could die and be resurrected.

My mum took me to hear Don play a gig at a school in Richmond, UK when i was 11 years old. I remember it like it was yesterday and i am now 48. I remember him doing this song and was utterly transported. The words, 'it changed my life' have become somewhat cheapened but that is exactly what happened to me. I heard this the day I got baptized and that night someone said you need to get baptized with the holy Ghost what is that I never heard of it but to my amazement I was baptized in the holy Ghost started speaking in the language I did not know and what made me a believer I never heard it before from anybody else so I'm affirmed solid believer of Jesus Christ and one of the people of the church saying this song with no music and it was so beautiful and made an impact on me throughout my life so this song is so anointed and yes one of the best songs ever written about Jesus it gives you an insight of what Peter went through and makes me cry cuz I felt his pain of what he was going through so this is the amazing song God bless all who listens to it and God bless the Creator this song it was from heaven

My mum took me to hear Don play a gig at a school in Richmond, UK when i was 11 years old. I remember it like it was yesterday and i am now 48. I remember him doing this song and was utterly transported. The words, 'it changed my life' have become somewhat cheapened but that is exactly what happened to me. I knew i had to sing and play and somehow find a way to serve and follow this amazing Jesus that I was starting to believe in. Thanks, Don.

Love all of his songs because they are stories we all can relate to!

When I first heard Don, I was not a fan...since my choice genre was "real" music..that genre was metal and loads of screaming....hahaha, I was abviously lost. Although I did not give this a chance...it stayed with me...and now being 30 years of age...I am a Don guy, but better than this...I am a child of the Most High Elohim. Blessings in Jesus Name.

My daddy sang this song every year at church at Easter. This song and my daddy’s voice was and still so beautiful it never failed to make me weep. Still makes me cry hearing this and remembering him doing this. He’s still living and I think I’m going to ask him to sing this again for me and I’m going to join in with him. I need to. He’s not going to be here always and I know that a huge chunk of my heart will die when he goes. It’s breaking my heart already just to think of him not being here.

I use to sing this in churches and youth camp when I was so much younger, I went my own direction not much different than the prodical son, thank GOD for HIS mercy to lead me back, I still haven't felt worthy to sing for HIM, I know HIS forgiveness is unending, I shouldn't struggle like I do with myself, I would that I could use any gift I have left only for JESUS, I would appreciate prayers from his people to give strength for all HIS children to do HIS will, we need HIS power so much in this time of darkness. Jesusprincess There's no need for sadness. Christ died for you but rose again 3 days after. He proved God is more powerful than death and hell. He came in the flesh to show us the way, the truth and the life. We don't have to hurt or suffer anymore. We can cry out to Jesus and He will be there for us instantly! He will return for us soon decending from the clouds on His great white horse and we will not know sorrow or pain any more. But until then I and all who read this will pray for your healing and strength in Christ :)

I always have a hard time each Resurrection Sunday with the reminder of this man suffering so much. He rose again I know, and Ascended to Heaven, but it is still hard to stomach a Human Being Son of God being treated so horribly and for me at that. Thank You Jesus!!
