Is there someone who still makes and sells the eyes ready to sit in? By the time I buy the LEDs, mesh tape, gel filters and petg sheets, it’s gonna cost over $60 just to make the eyes. I’ve got my Helmet printed and filled primed and just started the sanding process. But hoping to get some led eyes lined up for when I get to that stage.
I just finished watching your build and I am very impressed. I like the way you did your lights as mine have failed and I have to replace them. I’d like to know where did you get the LED strips for your lights? Thank you in advance and again, brilliant work!
I’m slowly making my way through this build. A couple questions: Did you not use the nanotech pieces on the inside? Wondering if they’re necessary. Also what did you use to bind everything together? Glue or welding? Thanks for your time.
I didn’t use the nanotech parts as I wanted a helmet closer to a screen used one, and I used spare rafts/ pieces of PLA in the small rectangles on the faceplate and sides and glued it all together. I hope this helps, good luck with your build!
Yeah what printer are you using? And what orientation did you have the sides of the helmet at? How long did it take for you to print the side of the helmet?
Yes it is! This one was printed using PLA filament. 3D printers that use filament are called FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) printers, and resin printers are called SLA printers, which print using liquid resin.
I’m wondering if you can help me out. I purchased the LEDs you used but can’t find a battery pack that works for them. The lights and wires just get too hot. Any chance you could shoot me a link? I’m just waiting for that part to complete. Thanks in advance.
I think it was this one, but yes if your lights get too hot it’s because there’s too much voltage, make sure it’s a 2 battery pack and not a 3 battery pack
Thanks! I really want to start this prodject once I’m done making the power ranger helmet for a friends parent so this helps a lot because o couldn’t figure out how to fit it
Awesome Idea with the mesh. I’ve made my own helmet but couldn’t figure out how to get that look without a laser cutter
Thanks! I know I couldn’t figure it out for a bit either, and then eventually I figured a mesh screen would work almost as good
Amazing build, very educational
Thank you so much!!

Thank you! There’s an Amazon link in the description of the video to the LED light strips!
@@midknight_makerOmg, I’m such a dumb dumb. I can’t believe I totally missed that. Thanks bro.

Where did you get magnets strong enough to hold both pieces?
I bought mine off Amazon, but you can also reinforce it by using some elastic to hold the two halves together if your magnets aren’t strong enough.
Can you make a video on the print settings used?
Definitely!! Although most of the time I do just use default settings on my printer

educational video! Might be paced better like a step-by-step instructional with close cuts. And a little music goes a long way - Giuliana
Thanks for the feedback! :)
Did you use filament for the 3d print? (I don't know a lot about 3d printing, but I found out there's resin and filament)

@@midknight_maker Thanks again!
One last question! I’ll be clear coating this weekend. I was wondering what you used (as in gloss, satin, matte, etc). Thanks!
Excelente videoooo
Thank you!
Could you share the stl file for the eye rings with me?
never mind just found them in the description shoulda checked first🤣
Glad you found them!
Out of curiosity, how much did you go up in size for it to fit your head?
I believe it was about 14 percent, I have a 24 inch head
