Hei guys , Weng here.after spending 8 hours of research and testing I decided to choose heygen . in this video I will share my honest review and comparison, so that you as well can pick your favourite one.
I have been looking for Ai tool for my faceless video creation, and I get to know about heygen and also D-ID .
Lets start with D-ID first.
These ai videos that has thousands of views without showing face, is actually created from tool like D-ID. The things that why it catches so much attention lately because it is easy to create, super real and people are actually love watching it, just look at the views.
D-ID is an AI tool that enables users to create realistic and engaging videos from photos, text, or audio.
With D-ID , we can literally create the full video that consist of voiceover and image, compared to others software , where to create a video we need to separate of these.
Users can choose from different avatars, backgrounds, languages, and emotions, and have natural conversations with the AI using text or voice input. chat.D-ID is powered by OpenAI’s ChatGPT as well. Literally anything that needed to create a video is fulfilled using D-ID.
What about HeyGen
HeyGen, formerly known as Movio, is an AI video creation tool. It is an excellent choice for marketers, educators, and content creators who want to produce high-quality videos quickly.
HeyGen provides over 100 realistic AI avatars. You can also either create a custom avatar or select from the ones available. You can also use the face swap feature or customize your avatar using a photo.
HeyGen enables you to create videos in different languages using their stock voices or your own voice. You can choose from over 300 different voices in 40 languages.
Theoretically both are equally great in the term of feature. These are the comparison of videos between Heygen and D-iD, lets watch.
Nothing much different right, quality is same, voice is good,as a content creator everything looks great. The production quality is the same.
Then what we look at to decide which to get , is the price we pay and what extra value we get from it.
The price for both D-ID does not have huge different , however the value the given is the key differentiation.
For D- ID , even the advance $299.99/month package we will still get a AI watermark here, which I don’t really like it.
And for packages that is lower than this , we will get D-ID watermark.
However with Heygen, with the similar cost of $49.99 in D-ID with 15minutes video creation per month, with ai watermark,
I can get 20minutes video plus NO watermark.
In summary , based on the similar quality produce by both AI, is equally great.
The buying decision is based on the cost + value provided.And I choose Heygen.

How long can i make a video with HeyGen free trial?
I made some videos for school with. D-ID (tests included i did around 6 min)
I made a new account to get free trial 2 times,
But after seeing a promotional vide made by Perugia’s University which looked way better than mine
And after days of browsing the web and asking to chatgpt, bard and claude
I found heygen but it’s free trial is 1 min if i’m not wrong.
As for u it worths the price for sporadical video making or are there better solutions?

@@ms1-Alex Yes, 1-minute daily free trial. If you are making 2-minute video, you have to wait for 2 days 😅 For the paid version, you are required to pay the whole year. 😢

AI has made it very easy for beginners to learn and create videos.
D-ID in my trials crashes very often and the quality of Heygen seems better to me, but they are both really too expensive
I liked them both..neither voice really seemed to match the AI face..but this was a really cool and informative video. Thank you for positing it.
heygen does not accept audio files longer than 5 minutes and it also requires credits
Heygen is better because it gives the feel of real people through ai with whole body movement if you use their avatar's so its better
The problem with D-id is the enormous watermark they splash across the image unless you go for the second most expensive solution they offer

I just had my first 10-second video in Heygen, and it is good. But AI voice was weird/ wrong pronunciation when the video was 1-minute length. 🤨

well i wont be surprise as the tech that used to build is new and therefore expensive. However , once this is become the norm, it will be cheap.(after 5-10 years)
