Hobi And Taehyung's Sweet Moments During Jin's Military Discharge | BTS j-hope VHOPE

- June 12 is the Independence Day of the Philippines. This year, it also serves as JINdependence Day for ARMY.
Seeing BTS welcome Jin back was such a beautiful feeling. It reminded me of how BTS treated Jin like a King when he won an award.
Jin's discharge from the military gave me so many emotions. I was happy Jin was back safe and sound. But got worried about that bruise on his arm. Got shook by saxophonist Namjoon. Couldn't take my eyes off my main man Hobi. My 2SEOK heart being happy. Couldn't get over how fine Jimin looked in his uniform. In awe of Taehyung's XL built. Proud of my baby Jungkook, knowing he'd fit well in the military. Couldn't stop laughing at how random this photo was.
As mentioned earlier, I couldn't take my eyes off Hobi, so I saw everything that was going on around him during Jin's discharge. Especially the VHOPE moment.
Hobi was the first one to come up to Jin and hugged him. While Mr. Saxophonist Namjoon was hugging Jin, Hobi spotted another member and approached him. That member was Taehyung. While many were busy gasping for air upon seeing Taehyung's new body, my heart was busy melting after seeing Taehyung's gentle touch to Hobi's waist.
If you know me, you know that I won't be satisfied with just one angle. As you can see, both clips were cut on the side and didn't show the full VHOPE moment.
So yes, I found the perfect angle of the first VHOPE moment. Let's not forget about Taehyung's touch. Despite his much larger physique, he remained gentle with Hobi. Let's proceed to the second VHOPE moment, shall we?
Hobi moved to the side to allow the remaining members to hug Jin. But Taehyung was so focused on Hobi that Jungkook had to tap his shoulder to greet him. All of BTS (minus Yoongi) finally hugged Jin, so they now shifted to greeting each other. That's where we saw TAEKOOK's hug, VMIN's hug, and VHOPE's hug.
Wait! Didn't Hobi and Taehyung already greet each other?? The gentle touch, the hand on neck, the perfect angle, the la la la la la... remember?? So was this second hug necessary, VHOPE?? The answer to that is YES.
It seemed like Taehyung really needed that hug from Hobi. The way Taehyung slowly approached Hobi to embrace him was so sweet and tender. And the way Hobi welcomed him with open arms made my heart skip a beat. Other clips even showed Taehyung's lingering touch on Hobi's waist.
And now for the third VHOPE moment. When Taehyung turned around, he saw his soulmate Jimin, and immediately hugged him. Did you notice something? Taehyung was about to hold Hobi's hand but then he saw Jimin behind him and embraced him.
Just when I thought my VHOPE heart could rest for a bit. Jin posted this picture after his livestream.

Everyone did get lingering hugs and hand holding. Tea is passionate that way. He misses them all. His bond with Hobi is strong. It was nice to see they all haven’t changed. JHope coming home will be a day of Thanksgiving . 2025 will be New Year’s Day in June for all the other members. I can hardly wait.
J-Hope, Jimin and V are the touchy guys in BTS. They love language is phisycal touch and often initiating it. The others usually receiving the hugs, but they are all involved. You can see in this clip, that the 3 touchy guys hugged for the longest time.

The maknae line has always been more openly physically affectionate than the hyung line. They crave it from all the members. RM probably brought the saxophone to avoid all the hugging he knew would happen. Their affection for each other is definitely genuine & reciprocal. 😊❤

I am very happy that Hobi is not afraid anymore. The moment that tae wanted to hold his hand, unlike usual he didn’t pull his hand and it was as if he also wanted to hold tae’s hand. My eyes were on Tar and Hobi too & those annoying edit cuts. Thank you for yr detective work . Hobi always gets the waist hold, from Taehyung, not the shoulder hug. They are so comfortable with each other. Can’t wait for Hobi’s discharge. Tae will be there front and centre wearing Hobi,s favourite colour green to show his love and support. Cant wait for Chapter 2 with all 7 back together. Must have been incredibly hard for them to all say goodbye to each other at the end of Jins discharge day.
Those VHope moments were sweet but it was the way Jimin just melted into Tae that got me. He gave Jin a similar hug but when he hugged his soulmate he was home in his arms.

Colt, for me all Jindependence moments were absolutely precious .. I love the video. Just like everyone else, I was waiting for your video. I am happy we get to see a Vhope moment. Watching Hobi being nervous and quickly ending the hug so it doesn't go on as long as Vmin always amused me. The hug was so full of tenderness. I also caught the hand holding.

Untill l found you, l saw a lot of TaeKook and TaeJin, but none of them doesn't made any sense to me, it looked fake and many times forced, but then...l saw your VHope channel and everything made sense...the way Taehyung is next to Hobi is different, his looks, his hands, his eyes, everything is brighter and happier next to Hobi... so when l saw the second hug (I watched live on CZcams) l screemed like crazy, I was so happy for ghem...I watched then dozens of times and every time, just wow! Anyway, la do love all, l laughed about Namjoonie's sax and I had teary eyes seeing them together like a family....l must admit l'm a real fan of Kookie and Jin, but the vibe I get from VHope does make me happy. I expected Hobi to be in uniform, too. Maybe he's weaning himself off camo and back to street fashion.
Seemed like Namjoon, Hobi, and Taehyung were on leave (in civillian clothes) while Jimin and Jungkook had to return to their duties after greeting Jin.
Since Jimin and JK come from the same camp that Jin was leaving, I thought they probably would not have had a chance to change clothes while the other members coming from home would have changed out of their uniform. Later pictures show Jimin and JK out of uniform with the guys.

I didn’t like the way you said, I feel sorry for Jin. I mean this in the loveliest way. OT7 are all grown men. They are responsible for themselves. True they have to be careful in front cameras, they all love each other unconditionally. They all have a special individual bond with each other. Jin is happy to be discharged and home. He has to adjust to missing new friends (military buddies) and enjoying his family (immediate family and BTS). Most people have picked apart a beautiful occasion to feed their narrative of BTS being more than brothers. Can we enjoy the reunion and be happy a loved one came home safe and of sound mind?

I think that bruise is when blood is drawn. He probably underwent medical check up before being discharge. I got that every 6 months when i was still working.

I need their moments to not get interrupted every time, so that we can see the full scope. Like, they always get cut out at the good part every single time (though I’d argue that all vhope parts are good parts). here is my delulu mind‘s explanation for the second vhope hug when Hoseok so readily opened his arms: Taehyung said to Hoseok „hyung, I should give you a hug from Yoongi hyung.“ so Hoseok opened his arms to get this hug from Yoongi as quickly as possible.
