DIY Ribbon flower with beads/ grosgrain flowers with beads tutorial

- Hello fellow crafters. My name is Katrina. In this video you will learn how to make twisted flower with sewn in beads.
Materials you will need:
79" (200 cm) of 1 1/2" (4 cm) grosgrain ribbon
(25) 8 mm beads
(25) 6 mm beads
(25) 4 mm beads
(1) embellishment for the center
(1) felt circles
Needle and thread
You can buy all the materials at your local craft store or even Walmart.

What a gorgeous finishing touch to a simple covered box. Even put a knob on the top instead of the finishing bead. Perfect for a nursery .

I made Christmas ornaments with these flowers (they look awesome) and attached some to pin backs for scarves and some on a few hats. Would be nice for a centre of a special bed pillow.

I just completed my first one in pink for a cousin who has cancer (pink ribbon). She likes pretty things and I'm sure this will bring her some joy. These are beautiful. Your video shows excellent instructions and is very easy to follow. Now I'm anxious to make one, or a few. An idea is already banging around in my head for a Christmas wreath with these as very elegant accents with green, red and white; blue and white possibly with silver, the colors and holidays are almost endless.

I know why some dislike this wonderful tutorial.
I once shared how to achieve the certain look of a popular garment in a DIY Forum and was quickly reprimanded by someone for giving away trade secrets which, they said, "takes away from someone's livelihood." (Meaning the ones who sell the garments.)
So, they basically want us to buy things instead of making them.
They don't realize that there are enough people out there who have no desire to be creative, or who have very busy lives and have no time for DIYs.
Me...it's what I do for fun, not for profit. I am a maker of so many things in my life, many types of arts, crafts, cooking, baking, etc. (I even made a baby! LOL!)
