Bachmann HO Octopus working! 46241

Hi, I wanted to share how the Bachmann HO scale Carnival rides operate when they are properly assembled. This is the Octopus. All the rides have similar mechanics. Thanks for watching!

Just completed the Spider ride (got from my hobby shop at 1/2 price) and converted it to a Disney ride (I have a Disney layout). Instructions and parts were terrible and it runs very noisy as well. Looks pretty good though.

One of the gears was warped, I had to brace it with heavy plastic. Hob-E-Lube gear lube helps with the noise.

You’re right: instructions not too good. I notice some parts not even mentioned in the copy.

As a newbie in this sort of thing, how do you wire the battery? What gauge wire is it? I am having a hard time finding a proper connector for the tiny wires they included.
