- I've recently started grinding the Italian cruisers on my CIS account, something which can be quite a struggle. Especially when you end up up-tiered.

I recently posted a DM vid and I rank the ship highly, but this was a good example of how that ship really needs a captain that can position it to take advantage of it. Vulnerable citadel vs Amalfi crossfire is in fact not a fun experience.

I know posting a commentary is a time consuming.. But he have zero commentary videos for ages.. He left the strongest advantage of him goes away, and maybe he forget what made him in this level!

I loved being up tiered in Amalfi, the SAP lets you farm any BB you face (excluding Soviet of course) and you can slap all the cruisers. Was easy topping the leader board with the xp bonus from damaging higher tier ships and the ships role doesn't change at all. Push or kite a flank and use the smoke as a get out of jail free card. ITA cruisers are so good at juking when running double rudder too.
What happened there at the start often happens to me. If I'm playing Atago or an Italian cruiser I like to push in at the start to support my DD. I have to admit to getting a bit triggered when DDs still pussy around with a cruiser just a few km behind them. Then, the games when you dont do it, they yolo into the cap like depressed lemmings and cry in chat that they had no support when they get wrecked.
Probably because most DDs are now overwhelmed easily with the multitude of Cvs and mega radars everywhere. Hell, there are DDs with radar now. You can't have as much flexibility as before.
Any time I get in torpedo range. Russian radars easily light me up enough for Cvs to keep hovering above and then the smolenks, petros and radar british light cruisers to murder me in less than a minute.
@@CesarinPillinGaming Yeah back in the day, if you saw that there were no Des Moines in your flank then you just went into the cap and knife fought the enemy DD and either one of you die or one of you give up and run away, and then you hold that cap until your team grows a pair and comes closer :D
Probably the best t8 tech tree cruiser beside baltimore. This thing can "tank" more shells than georgia.
T8 9 and 10 italian cruiser is the most fun I had in the game besides georgia and I think it's worth the grind. Easy 60+% win rate. I even bought the 5k doubloon Venezia permanent camo.
Brindisi is for me a pinacle of this tech tree. Very good at juking shells, good rudder shift, nice gun angles. In my opinion even better than Venezia. Chipping 14-16k per salvo on battleship is enjoyable even more so when you can make Georgia run away.
Personally I think Italian cruisers very enjoyable. It’s fast and nimble, has a smoke which helps people to push aggressively and get away with it.
Yeah, it's probably one of the strongest CA line I've ever played. Most of the ships are just pure Joy to play. They're pretty nimble, very fast (some even just as fast as slow DDs), well armored (except the low tiers), and the guns hit hard with both SAP and AP. Plus the extra "Get Out of Jail" card (aka smoke). What's not to love?

I was solidily mediocre with Italian cruisers until I remembered to use the AP
Yeah, the ap is actually great when you get to shoot some broadsides. I like her, she is still reliable, even when uptiered I can consistently perform well.
When I look at that ball of ships I just hear cicadas buzzing fervently

How do you find the goddamn potatoes... 2 cruisers chasing you, both giving you way too much broadside and neither firing HE... How do you find them, I get games like this maybe once a month...
Because he plays 50 games a day and posts his best games.....he'll have the same bad luck as everyone else for 95% of his battles

@@fanatik2134 you can still use it even if you're not in a replay. Looking at the minimap is 100 times more useful so WG doesn't care if you use it or not lol
Like your comments of the gameplay of others like myself because even after 1500 matches I still lack the experience from analysing my gameplay and checking in replay what went wring! This actually helps!

He was not recording live, it's a replay and he's commenting over it, he just kept it first person so it would look nice
always happened in asian's server (look at western side (where u clicked it), all gathered at the same place (for AA or fire power??) - if im in red DD, its a huge opportunities). same play style as me - open water engagement (either left/right flank), but usually left alone without any help to keep holding the flank so that the red team not advance faster to throw a crossfire. sadly, its in asian server...

It's "Bel Lavoro", literally, "Good Job". Appropriately in italian you would almost NEVER say that seriously but almost always indicating sarcasm.
teams like this are the reason why i cant play this game and WoT more than 30-60mins.
it will damage my brain more than a bottle of JD.
Basically play to get all 3 containers and that's about all I can stand.

WG can't add HE to ships that already have 2 ammo types because there is only 2 ammo slots on the bar, i mean they could replace the SAP with HE but that would remove the gimmick for Itallian ships.
The only reason WG would pay for the time and resources to add a 3rd ammo slot to the bar is to introduce premium shells that you pay for with dubloons and no-one wants that in the game apart from whales and people that just need to Git Good and learn armour layouts.
(I am one of the potatos that needs to Git Good)
Despite Flamus ranting, the rest of the team did really well. Concentrating the resources in time and space and sunk the majority of enemy ships.
Just because a stupid 'tactic' works now again does NOT make it any less stupid. They did "well" because the enemy team was even WORSE.
The enemy failed to capitalise on facing Flamuu essentially on his own and the Roon didn't use HE which was astoundingly stupid of them. Had the forces North simply concentrated HE fire on Flamuu he'd likely have died or left himself an easy 1-shot any time he revealed himself by shooting. Plus he could've been out-spotted anyway. That Roon frankly was largely clueless and it cost their team spectacularly.
What's more, the enemy failed to appreciate that they were outmatched south and played accordingly. Had they done so, it's entirely possible the fact they held a majority of caps would've proved decisive given the clusterfuck of Flamuu's team at A would have meant little had the enemy not made that concentration of force valuable in a game where it could just as easily lose the match given holding cap zones will do exactly that, all things being equal.
To put it differently, how much better MIGHT they have performed had they indeed had a BB or 2 nearer the centre able to crossfire enemy near A OR C? Crossfire is SUCH a force multiplier as we saw in the latter stages. Imagine a tier 9-10 BB or 2 having broadsides from earlier in the battle.

I really really hate that those players think they did good because the red team did worse. The whole rewards and XP economy is fubar. So many players get rewarded with wins and XP they don't deserve because they play like shit.
Never took you for the "Well done in chat" kinda guy. pretty lame IMHO. Especiay considering your team won.
If a team positions this god damn poorly they deserve every Well Done sent out. Far more than I could send out, wish I could've spammed it more, looking at the minimap in this game makes me annoyed at how god damn awful they are, why did they abandon the entire north of the map?? So they could all huddle together in A? Truly a Well Done moment.
