Street Fighter II X was a mail in order only game. It was never sold in stores. The holy grail is a sealed copy with no scratches. It goes for $1200 usd. However, that price will change as very few sealed and unscratched copies exist. Used and scratched up, it goes for 90 bucks at least. Why is this game going to sky rocket in price? A. Very few people know about it. B. You can very rarely find a AAA quality version. One of the sealed and unscratched copies I saw recently was sold for nearly $2000.

Apparently, I have 4 of these. I knew I had Jojo and GigaWing 2, but I just checked and I also have Tech Romancer and Mars Matrix. Pretty sure I got them all out of bargain bins back in the day.

Man I love all these Great Dreamcast Games, I Own some of them. I really Wish These Titles would be Ported to The Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox One with some Online Play and Leaderboards one day, and I'll be waiting till that day.

Cannon spike is okay. Each stage is like one room and a boss. Its cool to play as capcom characters. Fun fact the red head soldier girl was suppsed to be Lin from Aliens Vs Predator but something something licencing happened.

I still have my entire collection of Dreamcast games (about 50) and was looking at ebay prices the other day. Can't believe how the value is starting to spike. Almost nothing is cheap trash. I'm more blown away how the "standard" games like House of the Dead 2, Hydro Thunder, Daytona USA have spiked. Stuff like Skies of Arcadia and Sonic Adventure 2 really amaze me too. Those games weren't even remotely obscure.
Confidential Mission is probably going to be one that really starts to spike IMO. Sports Jam and NBA Hoopz are ones that people are starting to catch on to.
I also remember when KB Toys used to sell Dreamcast games 'Buy 1 Get 2 Free'. I definitely got Space Channel 5 and Sonic Shuffle completely free brand new

@@moonshinegaming I think for me it's just hard to believe those days were 20+ years ago. For some reason whenever I think about Best Buy, there is still part of me that expects to walk in there and see a sea of Dreamcast games like it used to be when I first started shopping there. All sorts of gaming stuff is just going sky high nuts lately though. I remember Earthbound SNES sat around $200 for years. Now all the sudden it's gotten crazy. Silent Hill for PS1 is damn near $200. I bought a unopened booster pack of Jungle Pokemon cards from from '99 at the 2019 Boston fan expo for $30 and my friend convinced me not to buy a 2nd pack because he thought that was too high for something I wasn't planning on opening. Definitely should not have let him talk me out of it, now it's an easy $200+ just for a frickin Jungle Pokemon booster! Absurd!
Sonic Adventure 2 for Dreamcast is expensive is due to Dreamcast lowering the copy quantities during 2001.

M vs C2 had great pallet swap options. You could make amazing looking characters. Jojo was one of the most fun fighters I’ve played. Character Stands could radically change gameplay up.

Have all these. At least, for the ones that are PAL I have the PAL versions, adding the US games like D2, Illbleed, Giga Wing 2 and Mars Matrix to them. The PAL games I bought when they were new or on clearence, so none of them were expensive. The US games I bought later, a few years ago, but none of them cost over 100 dollar. Mars Matrix was most expensive. Prices must have risen a lot recently, or these estimates are a bit high.

I have all of these as well. I thought the 3 Bleemcast games would have been the rarest on the Sega Dreamcast. They may not be the most expensive but the rarest. Those are the three discs that let you play 3 of the PS1 games on your Sega Dreamcast. Metal Gear solid , Gran Turismo 2 and Tekken 3.

Sold my copies of Power Stone 2 and Project Justice a few years ago. I was stunned at how valuable they were. I do disagree with the replayability of Project Justice. The gameplay changes depending on which characters you choose, as each character plays a part in the story. If a team mate goes rogue, they will leave your team.
Maybe I’ll have to give project justice another try!

@@moonshinegaming Yessir! You can fit the entire NTSC library plus notable Japanese and Pal releases on a 400gb mini sd. Don't forget about the homebrews and the recently released Atomiswave games too...all playable on original hardware thanks to the fairly inexpensive Gdemu. 👍👍

Just brought a Dreamcast I wanted one in 99 but my parents wouldn't get me one as I already had a ps1 at the time so I didn't get a next gen system until Christmas of 2002 with the original Xbox I'm loving the systems games it's an arcade power house :D if you love arcade games and Shoot em ups this is a system to own :D

I have a copy of illbleed and the game always resets and goes back to the dreamcast menu when i go into one of the rooms.
Do you think that is an issue with the game being defective or the Dreamcast unit itself?

Sega Dreamcast the best system ever and for the time what they did with the Dreamcast controller was just awesome. Mars Matrix I was totally into games just like this one ,I did though like the side scrolling a bit more but both ways were just fine.

The absolute RAREST of dreamcast games is Half Life.
Serval shipments were sent out ahead of release like when game stop gets preorders in, and a hand full were sold before sale date.
Sega Pulled the game from the shelves days before retail was to go public and now you only have some where between 20 and 500 copies in circulation.
Wow that’s wild, I knew it was cancelled but never knew that any games made their way into anyone’s hands. It reminds me of the “NBA Elite”situation on the PS3!

I've been collecting games since the second generation and loved the Dreamcast. Got it day one and played nothing else till 2001. After getting over 25 systems and 2,000+ games collecting had been less important. I started selling some of my collection off this year and put all the money in a savings account for my brother and niece. Just sold Bangi o for $200,Giga Wing for another $200,Rival Schools for $400 and Mars Matrix for $250. Haven't sold Cannon Spike or Giga Wing 2 yet but I did sell Magic Knight Rayearth for the Saturn for $1,000.

@@moonshinegaming Going back to the Atari 2600 up to the PS4,Xbox one. Still fool around with the Colecovision with my 15 year old cousin just so he can see what older games were like. Even have a special area set up with a really nice CRT TV just for Light Gun games so they can get an idea what arcades were like back in the day. It's not easy having over 20 systems hooked up to a 4K TV. A lot of crap you have to keep organized. Lol.

as evident from your smaller list of usual ten, the xb 360 library of games, i feel, is still a dime a dozen despite the ps3 library skyrocketing in price. web of shadows is still floating around $30-50 in my area while shattered dimensions is more. so it's still a good time to collect 360 games before microsoft nix backwards compatibility

@@moonshinegaming thanks. I was a big Dreamcast fan when it was out and I was a member of the Fighters Edge club. I went Capcom crazy buying as many titles as I could. Illbleed was a bargain game I bought on a whim but I had fun playing it. If I had known about Mars Matrix, I would have bought that instantly since I'm a Shmup fan.

2:56 I dont understand how this game is expensive..? The Japanese Dreamcast version is also in English way cheaper ($50) and the difficulty setting is more challenging then the US version. THE US release had the difficulty tone down. Also Power Stone Japanese version for Dreamcast is way way cheaper too. The US version is actually censored.
Yeah for some reason North American versions of games are way more expensive that other versions, not sure why
Lord, back in the early 2000s when I lived in the US, I had a Dreamcast and most of these games. I sold my Dreamcast, Xbox, and all my games for just $200 in 2009 when I moved to Asia, where I live now. I do have a Japanese Dreamcast and many of these games, but the Japanese versions just aren't worth as much. Oh well, I own them to play, not sell.

10:58 can i correct you real quick? the verison of Jojo's Venture on the dreamcast disc doesn't acutally contain the Story mode of the PS1 version and instead just uses the regular story mode from the arcade version. so uhhhhh, maybe like put that in the description or as a pinned comment or something?

Hold up...doesn't the Dreamcast version lack all of the "Super Story" content of the Playstation version? Because I remember picking up the DC version, discovering the mode was missing, then returning it to get the PS version.

Sonic adventure limited edition and Speed devils clean are rarer than most these other than Maybe Giga Wing 2 and Tech Romancer. Also I-spy is quite a low print game

I have most of those games... Giga Wing 2 GD-disc was stolen..
Somehow D2 was much more entertaining to me than the RE games... I have it US and Japanese.

I'm definitely going to watch all of the rarest collection videos because I have a major collection myself and I've absolutely gone nuts with the Nintendo Switch it even surprises me and I know for a fact I have some very hard to find or stupidly expensive games in my collection...So basically I'm looking forward to it
