- These four artists are merging art with technology in the most creative ways. While Geoffrey Drake-Drockman builds interactive cybernetic sculptures, the artists at Factum Arte painstakingly produce replicas of Egyptian art. Janet Echelman weaves massive installations out of high-tech fiber originally made for NASA, and coder Miral Kotb lights up the dance world with wearable illumination devices.

Art is everything.
The world itself is a giant artwork; and you are the artist. And your life is the primary media you use to either paint with different hues or just plain monochromatic.
This Video Artist we use technology
Me using MS Paint:iM aN arTiSt
Alot of people have different reactions to art, that's what it's for. Someone who doesn't understand an artwork might have a different reaction when something happens in their life. It's part of the reason I like to draw, I get the chance to put my personality on paper.
Can u tell me some equipment technology that is important on modern art?
The first guy is going to make an animatronic and make five nights at freddy.

6:54 "My work is about the dynamic nature of life" indeed, very dynamic you are putting enormous bird traps in the city. Very intelligent!
My god! I love this clip, I am an architecture student, who is about to give up doing art and design something interesting. After watching this clip, it gave me lots of inspirations. Thx again 👏👏👏

Hello. I tried watching the video, but the music is too loud, and couldn't hear the people talking. I turned it off. Can your editors lower the music so that people's voices can be heard, or just don't have any music at all. Thank you.
Never clicked on a notification that fast

People protecting and preserving artworks from the past so future people can see it and learn history... Meanwhile, there are people are destroying anything from the past to erase history thinking they'd make a change.
Really? Might I ask what people and why?? I'm afraid I hardly read nor watch the news
Sofía Rosero PLEASE NOTE THAT ONE ACTION OF THESE PROTESTS DOES NOT REPRESENT THE WHOLE, THERE ARE SEVERAL PEACEFUL PROTESTS. The recent black lives matter protests have been destroying or graffiti on confederate statues due to the association of racial and systematic issues among minorities, especially among the black community. The issue for this is mainly due to its glorification. Many argue these statues should be displayed as it represents “southern pride” or “patriotism” or “conservation of history”. However these confederate statues do not represent southern pride or patriotism. As seen in the civil war, the betrayal of the south from the union is seen as anti patriotic. This can be primarily seen for mainly these two reasons for betrayal: the wanting for the continuation of slavery and the disagreement of governmental policies that were put forth, which also included the president at the time, Abraham Lincoln, which many southerners disliked. At the result of the war, the south lost. So the reasonings for patriotism and southern pride is debunked. And now for the last issue. I personally think that these statues should be removed but be displayed in a museum. Furthermore, it is not like history isn’t erased. Many notable book and historical artifacts are preserved and are noted related to the confederacy and the civil war. Online articles and websites also provide extensive amounts of information. So placing them in museums should be were they should be displayed. If you hadn’t known, these confederate statues are often associated with the kkk, racial segregation, unjustified treatment of minorities, especially blacks. As such the black lives matter, which stands for equal treatment of blacks along with the rest of the people. These statues still remind and indirectly promote racial discrimination in America today.
@@Sofia-nc1tu I'd say, innocence is bliss. It's just sad. People started attacking museums too.
I'd like to know if any birds were caught in her nets? Would we even be told?
I don’t think so unless someone rattled it vigorously while birds were sitting on the net but this is probably a very VERY heavy line so I don’t think so
Meanwhile artists sitting in Rule 34...
Hsar Hsaw If it exist there’s porn of it.
Now thats real art right there
I would like to work with you , from India
At 5:00, these look like bird death traps
Anything that looks cool is considered art
I guess
Your names ironic
Yup, that's how art works. Literally anything can be art if you find meaning within it.

Also do arts those do arts like
I wonder how many birds and bats get caught in those big net sculptures.
Uhm are the rope structures safe for birds?
I believe so the birds would maybe sit on the lines so unless someone can shake the whole piece than they won’t be disturbed manually at least
Art is everywhere to your house your phone
I want to throw a shoe into the big air net
It feels like for the 3rd lady, her team is more talented than she is, lol. It's a lot of "we do this", hope they'rebeing payed as such, lol.
exactly, i had the same feeling and scrolled to find that the second comment was about her :)
I think she said they volunteered
I did not understand how the last project was related to education
Guys...facsimile
Janet's art is one of the more striking ones in here, but she comes across as pretentious due to her choice of words. a pity.
I agree. She keeps referring to the art installations as her work yet she basically has a whole team do the work for her. Her sketches don’t even look like the final product so I’m curious how much of her input is really in the final piece. I know a lot of artists gets assistance for their work. Yet they have to always be humble about it and give credit to to where credit is due. Instead of referring to it to it as her work, she should instead say our work.
she is Karen 2.0
Agreed. And it sounded like, CRINGY.
I've never even heard of the woman that does the net sculptures and honestly it's not that impressive it reminds me of one of those nets you can sit on when you rock climb
Those weren’t made to look nice and you have to really see the work in person to actually appreciate it like if I saw the mon Lisa on the internet I’m like oh okay it’s just that, whereas when I saw it in in real life I was blown away by it
Bollocks. What do you think paint is? What do you think bronze is? What do you think oerspective is? Or a brush? Or a chisel? Or a loom? Artists have always used technology. This is just catching up with the times.
Even though every piece of art is creative. I still wonder how a red square can be profound 🤨
You never know, art is ubejctive, and a good tax deductible
Programming is to writing poetry, what going to the Doctor is to swimming in a pool...
😍❤️💜💙
You can make anything with tecnology
Even a farting machine 😂
Thanyani Mukwebo I dont know why you thought of that specifically but I’m not complaining
I know! I also like to think that anything can become art!

The net ones? Or the sculptures in the first?
Chris Brown abuses women and is in general an awful person. Why the last artist would be proud to collaborate with him is beyond me.
Is it just me or is the guy who's in Madrid Spain sound like Donald Trump

The so call “AI artist “ just feed the algorithm and the algorithm do the job in the future they will be irrelevant to the algorithm.
It’s not art
Unpopular opinion : but modern art is shit. Trust me.
Sorry, it all sounds clever but none of these so called "art" spoke to me or moved emotion.
