- Ducati Streetfighter V4 and V4SP2 2023 | First look review from KNOX at EICMA
Welcome to our 10th instalment from EICMA 2022. While we are busy exhibiting at the show, we take the chance to jump off the stand and check out some of the hottest new models for 2023! In this video we give a quick first look review of the new Ducati Streetfighter V4 and Ducati Streetfighter V4SP2.
Last year, we tested the Ducati Streetfighter V4s - • Ducati Streetfighter V... , and found it to be, in our opinion, the very finest Super Naked on the market. For 2023, Ducati have taken it up another notch, with an improved electronics, a 17ltr fuel tank and revised looks. It looks stunning!
If the Streetfighter V4s was all you’d ever seen, then that would be enough… but the problem is, they make the Streetfighter SP2, which in the flesh, is another level again! With carbon fibre wheels, wings, dry clutch and beautiful brushed aluminium tank, it’s a thing of beauty. A special note and a hats off to Ducati who are making such machinery in 2022 when so many others are seemingly throwing the towel in.

The SP2 is a beautiful bike. I’ve enjoyed watching the first version but on track. In the right hands, it will leave most sport bikes in the dust. By the way, Ducati won the World Superbike championship as well as MotoGP, a first for any Italian manufacturer.
Thanks, yes totally agree, they really blur the lines between superbike and naked. All the best, Aaron KNOX
I got myself the last SP(V1 if you like) in November last year (no 1287), only done 60 miles to date due to the weather. Here's the clip I got from Ducati Leeds czcams.com/video/n87kkmtUykw/video.html She's a beauty and can't wait for the spring. Apologies for the low res video but listen to the rattle of the clutch and tickover.
Very cool. Congratulations!
That Streetfight V4S is so beautiful!!! Imagine your able to drive(ride) a work of art.
I humbly pray to Ducati to add fuel guage in Streetfighter V4...Thank you
2:47 with the whistle, was that Claudio Domenicali who walked through?
The only “advantage” to the SP2 is the CF wheels as the dry clutch has an alarmingly short lifespan and the CF winglets are basically irrelevant.
For the extra $10k, I bought the S and I’ll add the CF wheels next year for about $4k.
My 2020 XDs has a great fuel gauge but not the SF, dumb.
I really want to see your reviews of the stf v2 would like to hear you opinion after seen such a good review on the v4
Buy their products? who were you directing that to? The regular masses with regular 9-5's ?
Sure... the Ducati range isn't all about £40k superbikes. Aaron KNOX
@@KnoxArmour yeah but not as good as the upper tier....unfortunately that's where most of the 9-5'ers price range lies and can't afford a "true Ducati" but go ahead all you 9-5 folk, buy the buy the lesser Ducs that's in your price range so the R&D can continue for the ones that can afford the tech on the upper end bikes..... sorry obviously your comment pissed me off, ignore me
@@KnoxArmour Yeh, but come on, you only live once, work hard play hard. If you want it enough you'll get it. My SF V4SP No 1287 and I work 8 till 4.
Cakep
What’s the advantage of a dry clutch?
None really it's just cool
@@conorallen100 thanks for the technical reply!!
Essentially, its a higher performance clutch that Ducati are famous for. It makes for a smoother slipper clutch and that hallmark ducati rattle. Aaron Knox
Your engine oil should last longer without the heat generated from the clutch & clutch material floating around. Less parasitic drag from the oil which could rob the power a bit.
@@KnoxArmour thank you
Well it doesn't have a fuel gauge and cruise control... Otherwise it'd be perfect.
Try not talking over each other or saying, “Yeah, yeah” while the other person is talking.
Still doesn’t have a fuel gauge 😂
To be fair, If you could see the needle dropping like a stone. It's just going to give you anxiety..
@@non-woodsmanuk just shows how ducati is embarrassed to show how much of a gas guzzler their bikes are.😂
Please stop. Absolutely nobody that owns this bike cares about the fuel gauge.
But still own one the biggest bike’s💪💪💪💪💪
When I win the lottery I’ll have one next to my practical Multi V2S🤣👍
