Persona 3 portable is not a bad game but is far from the definitive Persona 3 experience.

Actually the other games do call back to Portable cause of Theodore. Since Atlus made the games he appeared in canon and he is pretty much linked to FeMC so in a roundabout way Portable is canon.
I like Portable more cause the new social links introduced in Portable are a fun ride, get to play as a girl, and has party control. I'm sorry but I hated the tactics menu, I sure do love when Yukari spams single target heals instead of party-wide heals even tho the entire party is low hp. You like the story of the Answer but the actual gameplay of the Answer is complete ass and there's a reason people tell you to watch the cutscenes on CZcams lol.
Theodore can also be the Male MC attendant in p3p he is not exclusive to her he mainly confirms that there is other timelines but he is not part of the main one use in the games.
@@omegavalwin Idk what's stopping Atlus from giving both protags equal screen-time like other games with duel protags. This is giving Atlus too much credit but them porting Portable means if they ever want to use FeMC more the legwork is already done.

If you played P3 FES it tells you how to use the menu for healing or knocking down enemies. It's not hard to get used to

Actually, this is kinda a definitive edition. Sure, it's presentation is not very appealing compared to FES, but it does make improvements from FES, both in terms of Social Links and battle gameplay, and even makes some really good editions too like changing the Inari sushi to now being able to copy skill cards and rescuing people lost in Tartarus. Most notable, it also has the inclusion of the most notable change to Portable is the option to play as a female protagonist.
If they did femc playthrough as fes styled that might just the best persona cuz I loved her and her music in persona 3
I personally love portable because, even though her storyline isn’t “canon” (it is to me Idc), I prefer her spin on it. I couldn’t relate to the male protagonist and he was too down in the dumps for me which put me off entirely. Her storyline was more in line of being cheery and supportive which I really enjoyed. Also, I got to flirt with the male characters 💜. We don’t get much of that at all in persona titles.

Horrible story that adds unnecessary flashbacks that build nothing and ruined Yukari and Mitsuru.
Not to mention the fact that portable cuts 20 hours of grinding, fix the fusion system, and add SL for the few reaming SEES members.

Well for the pc players they can always just use emulation and the have mod support
P3P is superior to fes for Fem C new social links imo. I do think both should just be fused into 1 game though.

They only port Portable because FeMC
The fact that they're only going to release the game NEXT YEAR they have no excuse to not work on a remaster or implement the FeMC route in the vanilla P3.
