I walked in and my girlfriend was watching this show and this song came on and I was like "that sounds like Metallica". This is one of the best covers of this song I've heard.
Was same with me I was sat watching it with wife and this started I was like at first thought was Beethovens 5th then I was like singing lyrics to nothing else matters this is metallica cover and bet it doesn't get the attention that Eddie from stranger things get but this is a amazing cover well done 👏.
I watched it alone. First two notes and I thought to myself, "Nothing Else Matters" one of the best songs by Metallica, ever!

The soundtrack of the series is absolute Masterpiece. This and the Vivaldi Winter Cello scene really cranked it up a notch.
The Vivaldi Winter scene cracked me up because I love that movement and idk she's really loving the whole chaos and it makes everything so fun

I was listening to this song for so many years. I recognised it from first seconds and i was so shocked to hear it. Cause, I’ve never seen someone actually used this piece in a movie or tv show. It’s so beautiful. Love this show.

My wife and son were watching this....and I was sleeping when this started playing ...in my sleep I got up ...and told her instantly that this is " nothing else matters"...some songs are so deeply engraved in your memories that they make u recognise them in a second... no matter the instrument...the artist...the cover.
After the first few notes, I turned to my brother and we both smiled. It made the scene much better too. Beautiful.
Episode 3 was my favorite of them all, and finishing it on such a beautiful piece was just the icing on the cake, plus the shot of Weems in her office drinking wine is just gorgeous!

Apocalyptica’s cover of Nothing Else Matters has been one of my top 10 favorites for years. I’m so excited when I started watching Wednesday and it started playing. They incorporate it into the scenes so masterfully. I’m glad to see it getting the love and attention it deserves.
I recognized it was Metallica, but didn't realize it was Apocalyptica.

NGL as soon as this started playing I had to smile. It's a song that really fits Wednesday (Never cared for what they say. Never cared for the games they play. etc) and it was just a great nostalgia trip to hear one of my favorite Metallica songs portrayed in such an amazing cover. A+ tbh.
Thanks to Apocalyptica for this mind blowing cover version. Impossible to listen to without tears in my eyes and having goosebumps. Also a clear proof that a true masterpiece of music doesn’t stop at stylistic borders!
My husband was watching the episode when I was idling on the www. Then I heard the first notes, I turned my head, freezing, listening hard, then smiling, telling him: "Hey, I know that, I've been loving this song for years and years, please turn it louder!" Finally Apocalyptica gets the credits they deserve.
Thanks to the gentle Icelandic guy that, in Reykjavik, told me "so you like classical music but you never listened to Metallica? try listen to this". He gave me his headphones and started this. I was blown away! Loved this piece from that moment on. I still love classical music and I still (usually) don't listen to Metallica, but this is sooo good!

That whole album is a masterpiece. And it was their exam at the end of their studies in cello- / musicclass😅

Honestly not sure I like the show as most as others, but this scene was really really well done. The monologue, music choice and the scenes they used really came together.

Tim Burton is definitely unique, and not everyone likes his stuff. But there's no denying he's great at putting things together.
Apocalyptica are such a great band. Sure they got their start doing Metallica covers on cellos but these dudes are crazy good. Great composers, and humble guys. They put on a terrific show.
One of the guys also worked on Max Payne 2 soundtrack back in the day.
they played this in the late 90s. All those dudes are in their late 40s or older now.
This cover was good, some of them I prefer the guitars and drums of the original songs, but there's quite a few classical pieces they've done that are superb. Then there's the collaborations as well.
Even hearing the first few riffs when it started playing gave me goosebumps. Definitey a cover I can appreciate! Love it

I am an avid fan of Apocalyptica.... they've been around for over 2 decades. They cover many Metallica pieces and this is definitely one of my favorites.

I think it's not unpopular to say that this is one of the best projects Tim Burton has directed in a while.
