Unfortunately for the Sixers they're playing a team led by a guy that doesn't play with defeat as being an option. Brunson.... with OG on the court together.....have only lost 4 games of their 25 games together.....it's hard to imagine that Philly could win two more in a three game span....but everyone has hope until the end....the game was blown by New York just as Philly blew a similar game. I haven't seen Maxey consistently play at his best and Brunson seems to find a way to score and pressure the Sixers defense every game.

Mitchell Robinson’s foul on Maxey for the 4 point play was the momentum change… just a brutal stupid foul. Why he was on the floor is beyond me? Bad coaching job by Thibs there. Hartenstein or even Achuia should’ve been on the floor in the closing seconds of the game because they can actually make free throws as well.
Doesn’t make sense to have him on the court when it comes to him possibly be getting sent to the line for FT in crunch time

Thibs timeout around the 3 minute mark was the real momentum change. 76ers were reeling Embiid was clearly gassed and Knicks were rolling. He gave Embiid a chance to breathe and Nurse to adjust his lineup. Players are the guys making the plays but Thibs should know his Personnel. Mitch was gassed and 76ers exploited it. Maxey got a logo 3 pointer because Mitch was too slow to step up. You force him to go around you and put up a 3 not allow him to pull up freely off a Half court Screen. This drop coverage Thibs loves killed us. Brunson had some bonehead plays in OT but why did thibs not gameplan for McBride or Og to get a look from a designed play

That was the dumbest foul being up by 6 with less than a minute left to play. Everything that happened after is AFTER THE FACT

That foul by Mitchell initiated everything. Everything just went downhill from that point on. I mean, what was he even trying to do? What was the strategy here? You're up 6 points with less than 30 seconds left, why are you contesting shots like they about to hit a game winner? Let them shoot, inbound the ball (or get the rebound), run the clock, and make your free throws. Repeat until time runs out and game over.

Precious should have been in instead of Robinson. He had fresh legs and even if they went to Embiid, they would of still been down. Thibs didn't make the adjustment.

He can draw people to him and make the right pass. It's become so predictable everyone just standing and watching. This can only work for a little while, it's not sustainable at all. Plus he took bad shots and held the ball too long. Swing the ball and if it ends in his hands then shoot all day.

Was disappointed they just played iso with Brunson it obviously wasn’t working and he didn’t pass the ball at all

The offensive game plan in OT was just strange. We kept just ISOing Brunson even though everyone was spent and put too much pressure on him to create something when the 76ers were swarming him. Jalen still had a good game there were just mistakes by everyone that cost us the game. Hart missed FT, Mitch stupid ass foul and not getting up on Maxey the next possession, and then the Brunson TO in OT. Such a shame, it was right there. Knicks gunna bounce back game 6 🔥 also mad respect to Maxey, he’s special.
