This level is pretty much Hang Castle 2.0, but this is still nice mod.

I kinda like 4 kids better. Well not all the actors but I love this cast too. Way better than the modern cast for sure

Its surprising how well this fits with the heroes gameplay
well shadow and heroes was on the same engine afterall.
Shadow the hedgehog's gameplay is just heroes gameplay but without power and fly characters, only shadow is playable, he has arms, and also he is soo DAMN EDGY

Digital Circuit, Mad Matrix, Circus Park & Iron Jungle look like rejected levels from Sonic Heroes & I would love to see Shadow going around Seaside Hill armed with a gun shooting all Egg Pawns & Black Arms Soldiers in sight. I would even love to see Rouge in her Heroes outfit in Shadow The Hedgehog. Now please get to work.

Still so weird how in the OG game Eggman was the dark mission yet killing mechs fueled the dark gauge and pissing off both Eggman and Amy
Yeah. The Dark mission does lead to Shadow meeting up with Black Doom in Central City, though. In ignoring the Black Arms in this level, he's sort of a double agent for them in that way. The recap before Egg Breaker even has Shadow saying he lit the torches to get close to Eggman (for "a little talk", and by extension the Chaos Emerald), not necessarily to help him.
I always loved the music to this stage

you know... most of the cast in shadow are playable in heroes. what if they just sudo implemented character swapping with your buddy? I mean they almost already did that, with the plugging in a second controller and all.
of course, that makes my brain explode with like...special paths you have to use the buddy for. making a bigger difference between being good or evil. assuming both eggman and dooms eye could do something, in this... metaphorical version.
edit: you know... thinking about that, that's actually a pretty good idea, I might do that actually.
