13:51 says "The gene's on fire", with the "gene" referring to "New DNA" (which is the title of XG's upcoming album). Both the GRL GVNG and TGIF MVs play into this idea of XG carrying "new DNA" into the music and entertainment space to transform it.
Also something to add is that this something obviously stand for being confident and loving yourself which “the genes on fire” could mean that the genes they got are some really good ones because they’re really beautiful if that makes sense

XG's Editors are literally so obsessed with unique and wacky transitions and I love it so much T_T
XG is pretty underrated. The girls are unique. They pretty much stand out without much effort. Transitions in K-pop are far more clean and flawless than anyone realizes.
Technically they are not underrated bc they are just starting out. This is just the beginning of their journey. They are still trying to make a name for themselves. They only have 8 songs if that. Imagine it like being in a race, they are still at the beginning. Which is completely normal. They are using old school tactics which has been lost since 2015, combined with modern day ones. They are not underrated bc they haven’t been around long enough to be looked over. They are still trying to be discovered.
They just start growing now. I m one of recently fan of them

I think the point was that the director did it from the perspective of a "space fly" - their theme is space, and she just ran with the "FLY" stuff. That's why its so many eyes and repeated images.
