    Why must you remove the cylinder head? Working on mine right now and that is on the opposite end to what I working on

      I have the same question. Did you find anything out ? I am doing the crank shift online. I figure you can get it out from the bottom without removing the heads.

    Great video, always good info. I have a 13 Sorento with 2.4l GDI. Recently had the rod bearing go out at 97k miles. Do you have any recommendations on a good crank and piston rods? I’m hopping I can rebuild this engine. Thanks

    Also just take flex plate loose from the ring gear to separate crank from torque converter
