@@haneefs666 Well so what??? Nudity doesn't make one an F-grade actress. I mean look at Kate Winslet and Holly Hunter who have both won Oscars. They never had any inhibitions about being vulnerable in front of the camera. If the movie does justice to the novel and she gives a great performance and the movie is successful...hopefully she gets her first Oscar nomination for best leading actress for where the crawdads sing. It's a complex and meaty role so hopefully it works out great for her.

Nudity in cinemas started long ago, male and female and Daisy is attractive, hot and i already have seen her naked in that show, so i expected to see more of "her".

My point was those scenes weren't meant to titillate the audience, they were an essential part of the script and storyline and most people especially those who want to see high quality films with excellent performances and compelling, impactful stories don't watch CINEMA for that! If it wasn't a big deal for you truly, you wouldn't have to fixate or gloat about "already seeing someone naked so no big deal" even once and would have plenty to say on her acting and the story which you never did. We live in a world where those who want to see nudity and sex specifically can easily find it anywhere online or in any porn/sex shop or wherever else some people find or buy it. Most people who watch films AND STRONG CINEMATIC STORIES globally watch it for overall story so that's why I asked "so what???" Because you ONLY HIGHLIGHTED "explicit bold scenes and full nude" and didn't mention anything else. Lol there's NOTHING here to be "sensitive" about but the way you got so defensive and started over-explaining stuff I never even asked about says everything. Anyway all I meant was if nudity is an integral part of the film...then I don't see why anyone would have any issues but if it's not needed cuz it serves no purpose to the script and main plotline and they just added those scenes randomly to titilate and entice the audience into the cinema or watching the show, then that would weaken or lessen my likelihood of liking that show or film. NOW THAT IS WHAT I MEANT AND ALL I INTENDED TO SAY! I, sure as hell, did not need all these rubbish excuses and explanations from you about "how you already saw her naked" and whatever other nonsense. Fresh is one of the few movies that made me feel physically ill 😅. I had to pause it for a few minutes to collect myself. I am a huge horror fan and have seen very brutal movies but despite not being that brutal the subject matter of this one made me squeamish. I feel like a wuss for getting sick during it. Totally loved the movie though. It's probably going to be my favorite horror film of 2022. Daisy was great. So charming. She's also incredible in Normal People which I think is a masterpiece. I love her and can't wait to see her in more projects.

Same same same. That scene with the “meatball”, around 40 mins before movie ends, I had to pause, watched some random youtube videos, then came back and finished the movie (and still felt a little sick afterwards). 🤢 But overall, it is a very well done movie. And this is coming from someone who usually doesn’t enjoy horror/thriller/gory movies. 😬
Watch the last 10 minutes of "Men". It will disgust you to no end. The movie was very weak compared to "Fresh".
@@Novin.S I did see that in the theater. I was able to handle it. It was more weird for me. With Fresh I think it's mostly the subject matter that gets me. The only movies that have made me feel that way have delt with the same thing.

Actual "interviews" don't exist any more and since James Lipton died. "Night time entertainment" is all about the hosts. They interrupt often too so you don't forget about them.

First time i've seen her is on the where craw dad sing and she's amazing...seen it like 3 times and everytime it made me cry...such a beautiful performance from daisy edgar-jones... have to watch her other movies as well...
Once you see Fresh, this segment makes so much more sense beyond "let's try some snacks." Watch the movie, it's great.

If the movie is as good as the novel and she pulls it off successfully she could get her first oscar nomination for best leading actress next year. I have heard Kya is a very complex character so if the movie's a success and her performance universally loved and critically acclaimed...she has a strong shot for next year.

Fresh (and not trying to reveal spoilers) to me really is a metaphor about modern dating and patriarchy itself, including the objectification of women, their bodies, and the commodification of them (think sex trade, even though sex trade is not in the film, literally). It's about male fantasy and obsession, expectations, disappointment -- all feelings that are somehow tradeable within the modern world system of capitalism, apps, and so forth. It's definitely worth a see. And yes, bring a vomit can if you must. ;) All best and happy swiping!
