@@dauminatorgaming5364 you cant really prove that though, his base is actually insanely hard to raid, they may not be the smartest group but they aint bad, they were watching peak angles and everything well, but tokyos base is a solo base design that id made to make the solo player have an advantage over the group if they dont plan out the base well enough.

Can you do a solo video? Also Welyn, this may seem like a odd question, but ill ask anyways. Why do rust youtube's try to portray themself as the good guy? For example, like orient their stories around taking out roof campers or toxic group. Now I understand why one would want to do those in a rust wipe, however it seem like rust some youtube's will go the extra mile to do the right thing in a story to seemly portia their story in a more positive way. I believe you to do this, but don't get me wrong, I'm not here to accuse you and nothing wrong with it. Is it just a common story telling device? I just want to understand it. I have considered that these youtubers are genuinely good people, but if only it where so simple. Rust and most video games alike will rarely be black and white. At the end of the day it is a survival game and you can't always do "right thing" inside a game like this and make it out on top. So my question to you is, why do you and others alike choose to portray a rust story like this?
I know this is kind of random and a bit philosophical for a video game but I have wondered this for a while and now I have a chance to ask. Thanks

did you know that if you have the objekt quality on very low you cannot see throw the armored door ? ;)
@@Chris-kh5vw pretty sure you can, I had everything on low on my old laptop and could see through armoured door hatch
@@Chris-kh5vw It only happens with some skins, for example I had that glitch with the twitch drops hqm double door. I don't know if they fixed it yet.
I will never understand how one man can defend off an entire 15 man clan with seemingly infinite rockets and kits. This man is an actual legend and needs to be recognized more.

Because of skill difference. Zerg tend to have less time to practice the essentials of playing the game. And tokyo loves solo vs zerg for years now. So he have extensive exp how to handle such situations.
@@SiBebok Honestly not really the case. If you have 8 people with rocket launchers that is pretty much 4 armored walls gone every 20 seconds. How a 15 man zerg cant just pummel through his base is beyond me if it is not scripted. Why would they have like 10 people on the lookout with 2 or 3 people rocketing. Makes no sense. Usually a raid like this is over in like 5 minutes tops.

It’s a quicker seal if you only put enough wood in your inventory for a twig or two. Then you can skip the right mouse movement to upgrade

Rust really is a beautiful game. Every wipe is like a movie itself in a way I cant even explain. I feel nostalgiac remembering when I played rust for the first time with friends, getting our first ak, having a zerg build next to us and have an all out war for 3 real life days. What an amazing video man seriously

lol yeah I know he said not to be mean to the raiders but they were absolutely pathetic. Building an HQM raid base with 4 M2s on a roof and failing. I mean they used the bitchiest tactics and still lost.

@@AsianWithAnOpinion I wouldn't blame them, the raid is right next to launch site, a busy monument, in a busy server. So being countered is certain. If you are carelessness your raid base will be taken over by counter raid.
You can also see the that the ones on the roof shoot at all directions, means the raid being swarmed by other players.
Also it seems to be the end of the wipe. So I think if they didn't go all out, that a bad move (by which I mean in this case armored raid base is a good move)
Lastly while Tokyo did great, but he won't be able to win the defense without the counter raiders. As you can see that Tokyo did not goes out and loot, or really defense the raid-breach much, but the raiders struggling to enter his base. Meaning something (turrets) or someone (counter-raiders) actively stopping them to enter the base.

This is probably one of the most impressive raid defenses. The fact they were all looking behind them while you were the other way shooting them in the back shows that these guys were not fully prepared to do this. As always your videos never disappoint and this one is for sure top 3 in my opinion. GG man. That was intense watching you try to seal while they kept shooting out your wood. Cheers man.

The game sense you have is actually mindblowing, the fact you sensed something was going down, went to translate their chat, and were able to prepare is bonkers.
I love the enemy POV! It's cinematic, but not too over-bearing with edits. Imo your minimalistic content is what keeps me interested. It's intimate and never takes away from the action. Cheers!
The reason the base works so well is because of 1) all the various angles to peek from, the elevation changes, and 2) the fact that Tokyo actually uses all of them, not staying in one spot for too long - makes the raiders feel like they're raiding a clan, getting shot from so many places. Plus having the flank base I think really helps when you're on bag timer.

Of all the Rust players I watch on CZcams, you seem to be the most capable. Clever, cunning, daring, technically savvy, driven, ingenious, relentless but ultimately also mostly respectful. Plus, you also know how to create exciting videos with nice editing and captivating music.
my heart is racing when i’m raiding a 2x2 so can’t imagine anything like this. i remember coming across a high tech base like this with a sam sight. it shot me down. we went back to get our aks and that shit was loaded with turrets. crazy how you can fend off so many people. i definitely learn a lot from you. i wish you would do a commentary or Q&A. that would be sweet

This is what we call in the fps world, "the defender's advantage". It isn't the defender's job to defeat the attackers. All they have to do is waste their time and resources. No matter how you looked at it, the attack was a bit sloppy, and the defense was just magnificent. Loved the flank angle as well.
