- During World War 2 and after, there were a number of ruthless executions in which women were taken to the execution pole and not a gallows. Inside of Czechoslovakia and Hungary they used pole hanging as an execution method, and some women were executed for their crimes in collaborating with the German enemy during the war. But there was one case of a woman being executed in this way for her resistance to the Axis forces. This is the story of three women who had different stories during World War 2, but very similar shocking executions.

Most of these guards were in their 20s and some of them worked there for a few months and quit. They returned home after the war and lived civilian lives before they were rearrested and tried together as a group and hanged. It was nothing more than victor's justice as there was no evidence some of these girls actually did anything but work as prison guards for a short time.

A lot of the female guards of the camps being so young shocked many after the war. Showed the work that certain youth groups did that they belonged too.
The ones who were executed by Western military tribunals were identified by survivors, tried, and condemned.
Your comment is not very well thought out. Based on what should you assume that in every country where post war executions have occurred were done without evidence of the crime of the accused? You understand that you are making an accusation against many people involved accusing them of executing innocents? Do you have evidence of that?
It is also important to note that these reprisal executions after the defeat of the nazis were not equally common in the different regions of affected countries. In some countries it was more extreme in others less. I read that in the Eastern Europe it was more extreme. Another important detail is that various anti-semitic attacks against Jews also did not stop after the defeat of the nazis. This continued also.
I understand if you or anybody is simply uncomfortable with the whole concept of death penalty, and especially being against the concept of a public execution. Another argument could be made that some of the executions which have taken place were carried out based on an accusation that the executed indirectly caused deaths of others. So they themselves may not have killed other people when they collaborated with the Nazis. But this again leads to the general issue of morality of death penalty.
@@StopFear Of course they were innocent. In Yugoslavia, 70.000 German civilians died & were killed in communist concentration camps from 1945 to 1947 for- being German. Women were mass raped & then mowed down with machine guns when they contracted VDs. That's reality- the whole communist system was a disaster.
The last one was so sad, a brave resistance worker, and only 20 years old when she died. RIP Lili.

What is wrong with you people! Who doesn’t want to watch the Axis powers get their comeuppance. Of course that is easy for me to say because one whole branch of my grandfather’s family are currently ashes somewhere in Eastern Europe and have been since the very early 40s
I think most people have no idea what you're trying to say. I am not sure you carefully watched the video either. Also the issue is not whether the executed persons were guilty. The issue which causes some of the viewers to say "it is so sad" is just the brutality of death penalty in general, but sometimes it is also not clear whether the executed persons had any other option in their situation in their alleged collaborations. I mean, have the victorious powers actually executed all of the enemy's soldiers? No. It was illegal to do that unless there was a specific crime documented. Another aspect of this is that regardless of the crime, the crime itself does not mean that the death penalty is justified in all cases. No justice system in the world functions based on some sort of absurd "an eye for an eye" concept.

@@StopFear No, I know of no such method. I wouldn't ever kill another human no matter what they did if I had the option to keep them alive. I don't judge those that are pro-death penalty but I respectfully disagree with them.

Hello 😊 Unfortunately there seems to be some issue as every video I upload, a comment like the one you have referenced appears. Each time I 'hide user from channel' but it does appear. Its some strange automated thing, but rest assured I am trying to delete these comments as soon as they sprout up. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! Get another narrator. You have terrific content on your channel, but your narrator delivers every sentence exactly like every other sentence. Not just boring, but unbearably distracting once you notice it. Sometimes I turn volume to zero and read the captions to keep my "sanity".

I would suggest that you move on and watch something else. Thats why we have the 1st amendment for unpopular speech you're the only one complaining it may be offensive to others as well but we respect others the right to make fools of themselves
