i am eating malysian food and i lost 5 kgs. it not about food afterall it is about quantity of kcal (in and out) . try to eat small portion and be active.
Farah Ayub nak try lah nowadays I follow the 30 days fitness challenge
Jas Azran Mohamad I can't eat small portion the food calling me to eat a lot
Farah Ayub easiest way to lose weight. Go to university without any scholarship or loans. The next time you want to eat you'll really rethink what you're gonna eat since you barely have any money to live on. I lost like 6kg during the first month in Uni.
@@formerunsecretarygeneralba9536 True that. Hahahaha..
+TheMingThing I salute you guys for making a freaking good video.
Love love love the video! Smiled the whole way through. Thank you!
Utterly brilliant! You guys make the most awesome videos!
When I came to Malaysia to study, I was 60kgs. Now I am in my final semester and I am 77kgs. 17kgs in 3 years. God bless Malaysian foods
We live in a land filled with irresistible food, no doubt. I love them all! Yet, I eat whatever that is available and there is no need for special diets and preps.
This is what I have been doing for over 6 years now + a few simple tips:
1) Zap fan - reduce rice portions. Even a quarter of a bowl less will do the trick.
2) Fried chicken - remove some bits of the really oily fats layers and feel free to indulge in the rest.
3) Char Kuey Teow, Roti Canai and other mamak food - feel free and "sapu" them all in. Just reduce the frequency of it. Works wonders.
4) Absolutely ZERO tolerance to carbonated drinks and supplements.
5) Exercise according to your body condition and diversify them so that you don't get bored. I have speed hiking, bodyweight workouts a.k.a. calisthenics (many facets included), running and swimming (primarily a swimmer) :)
6) DISCIPLINE!
There is no need to stop eating everything so drastically. The flabs will return just as fast as they will go. Good luck!
How to diet when Malaysia food calorie per plate equal to run-until-half-dead-also-not-enough kilometers?
never stop making videos . u guys always make my day ! fighting tmt !
Just what we need. A reminder.
That things repeat after.
-Comment brought by while eating Mamak.
finally another video from tmt, really liked what you guys came up with, sukses selalu GBU!!
Going to Malaysia next week! :)
ChickenFriess how was your trip? :D
its also tough doing diet in Indonesia. Because we shared common food, lifestyle, etc. In my experience, you need to do the IIFYM or Intermittent Fasting diet. I did lost some weight while keep eating padangs. don't worry about that.
Favourite vid from this channel. I have been subscribed for so long and the only video that is next to this is the I Know Wing Chun vid. Anyone agree?
Very creative directing Ming, keeping the youtube scene fresh, nice work!
wow..this really sums up the life of us as malaysian right now..seriously nice one dude💪
So relatable vid of how I tries to lose weight but actually gaining weight instead. Ps new subbies. I love ur video!! They awesome! Can't wait to see what's ur next vid will be la.
Epic video! 😂👍 you TMT people rock! Keep it up!
one of the funniest video u make..thumbs up..need more like this kind of video
Well, my family's been eating less rice. Very tough for Malaysians, but that's what have to do la XD like, cut down bit by bit, dont finish all the rice/mee, cause that's all simple carbs which becomes fat XP Or instead of having noodles, add more protein la. Maybe not all the time. No rice all the time very hard. Maybe, like, lunch only or one meal a day, something like that. helps a lot.
One meal a day is not good, aim to be fit, not thin. There's a difference.
XD I mean one meal don't eat rice, not only eat one meal a day. Like, lunch don't eat rice, but dinner can eat rice. something like that
Jonathan wong zi cai actually you're very very wrong. intermittent fasting as it is known as has been proven to confer multiple health benefits including improving lipid profile and also points towards a potentially longer lifespan. There are already a number of scientific research on its short term benefits.
What a great video bro ! Keep up the good work. Clean edit and interesting video.
i always waiting for a new video from this channel.pls bring more videos with ming yue, the way he talk always makes me laugh XD

hahahahaha good work! I felt all the Malaysian you tubers that I have been following are not doing good job. but this is hilarious!
Man... i love how everything is so on point.
ALL THE PROBLEMS ARE SOO TRUE!!! Especially the haze lol 😂 I prep meals to lose weight in Malaysia and yea it ain't easy especially your friends around you stuffing their face with nasi lemak and roti canai 😂🙄
We only have salads. Strictly Salads.
How to diet, all the "healthy" options are very expensive Malaysia...... u guys try la do Keto diet in Malaysia.... all Keto recipe are all "Mat Salleh" recipes one.....
the editing is on point.Good job

This video is damn funny, and so relatable! haha thanks guys. i'm just shout to start being healthy again haha, let's see how long this last before i need to go kena some nasi lemak or nescafe tarik haha. Definitely going to include this as part of my #arkaysfavs on my (little) show's episode today!

The quality of your videos are amazing :)
NO. Why am I seeing this video now when I've just made up my mind to work out on a 30 day regimen.
btw, awesome video. It's getting better every time.
Pretty much explains every single Malaysians who want to lose weight without any stress-related issue. I am part of it of course. Thumbs up! great vid!
This channel need more appreciation
I LOVE THIS KIND OF VIDEOS!!!
Never have I been so in touch with a video before XD especially the jogging part. Yesterday too hot, today rainy pulak haha.
I usually stick to the same meal times and eat according to portions. As for snack cravings, go for nuts or fruits. Body weight exercise is the best free workout there is for broke students like me :p parks with the outdoor gym equipment are an alternative to gyms (though the equipment gets crispy hot on scorching hot weathers)
I love the way you guys film
I think I am already learning Manglish thanks to your videos. Keep it up guys :D
Love this video! Truly love the Manglish. As for me, I just cut down all the sweet drinks first. Just drink plain water and cut down your rice intake. Last meal is 3 hours before bedtime. Cut down processed foods, eat more fresh food like fruit n veggies. EXERCISE. Works wonders for me but then I stumble and go makan everything again. Hahaha.
Wow this video is so well made, awesome job!
There is not a single video that you upload which i have not like, even before watching it... just awesome...
PS: Its also difficult to diet in India mainly for the same reasons. :P
+TheMingThing yes!!!!!! i love your comedies!!! please make more!!!
your content always good man , keep it up!
I do agree with you ...
must go green and try reduce take oily food
AHAHHAHA OMG LOVE THIS SO MUCH x Much love from across the border in Singapore!
Keep making amazing videos guys! 💯
This could not be more accurate.. u really nailed this one.. hahaha!!
You know you're a fan when you like the video before it even starts
I really like how your videos isn't focus on being sponsored and advertising like the other few locals channel.
when it comes to food there's nothing better than Malay food, especially when your mom makes it.... omg, i miss it soooo much!!!
It's especially when you want to try to eat clean but all them foods that are said "clean" are waaay too expensive and completely out of your normal daily life budget. :(
YESS IT HAS BEEN SO LONG BEFORE I SMILED THANKS
Wat a hilarious vid.. Great work!! From ur fan in sg.. 😌
this is what i need. thank you ming. its really hard
this is funny, please continue these type of vids~
THIS WAS SO CREATIVE I LOVE IT
This is so absolutely very true omg LOVE THIS VIDEO
*Disclaimer: I'm a university student so this lifestyle may not fit everyone*
Personally, I wake up early when I can - say 4-5am. I get the bulk of my work done by 7am, go for breakfast with my parents, then when I come home around 8am when the sky is bright enough and the weather isn't too hot, I start jogging around my neighbourhood. I do this about 3 times a week. If you swim, good. Imo it's the best exercise for losing weight speaking from personal experience. :)
As for food, I started eating cherry tomatoes (about RM5 for a box at jusco or jayagrocer), strawberries (roughly RM20 for 500g at jusco) and bananas for breakfast. I sometimes include unsalted nuts as well for energy.
I wouldn't say I'm on a diet and I wouldn't recommend anyone to be so strict and unkind with yourself when you are unsuccessful in keeping to a diet. Just try to eat a little healthier. Include fruits in your meals and snack time and drink 2 litres of water per day - the equivalent of 8 glasses of water.
For lunch, you can also prep your meal and bring it with you. Perhaps some people will think that you're kiamsiap (stingy) for bringing your own food or that you're weird, but that's their problem. You know you're doing it for Your health so don't let anyone else's closed-minded opinion stop you from becoming healthier.
Just my two cents. I'm starting to improve my lifestyle health-wise and thought I'd share these tips with anyone who may find it useful. :)
Hehe, loved this! Too cute but so true also!
Personally when I diet to loose weight, I eat more :P It doesn't mean stuff my face kind nor do I have to completely stop. It's just eat properly timing and portion. Want nasi lemak... can! 1 packet enough lor. Don't go 2 or 3 packets.. As for exercise, I don't jog (no time + lazy... all your excuses in the video is ME!) but I register for marathons. Pay money already, don't go feel horrible, so must go! I also do pole and aerial so that one got instructor to force me :P
Hahaha... great video. On point, nice pace... Awesome
Love this video so much
I'm Yemeni girl living in Malaysia and you just described my daily struggle of being fit .. the problem with my diet is a Seefood diet which is basically I see food and I just eat it lol X'D
keep up the good work .. lah :)
Loved the Manglish, it's so like a Malaysian telling stories!!
Love your Vids like always.
Totally can relates this, living overseas makes you agree more with this video lol.
So many good food in Msia, how can you say no to them everyday and on diet. haha
this is what we called as quality content !!
Come on man... our country is FOOD HEAVEN how do you expect to go on a diet..
i love this!!!
i usually go for a run, at night. but, workout is like 30% to help you get in shape. so yeah, it's tough dieting in malaysia. ok,now mamak time!
What I do when I can't go out to jog or do other exercises is to stretch at home and do yoga. It really helps. It's also hard to diet in the Philippines because a lot of food here are oily, greasy and meat-based meals. Of course there are healthier options but I don't fancy vegetables much haha. Such a big problem :))
1. I stopped eating rice (yes it was hell at first but I am managing 😭) tho, I am not cutting my carbs completely.
2. After wake up, drink at least 2 glasses of water and 1 glass of unsweetened green tea.
3. Drink drink drink drink a loooooot of water before eating. (plain water one lol)
4. Stop junk food and proccessed food . Although sometimes, ala we all human we cheat what. Me too 😂.
5. Do jumping jacks, squats, push-up and a lot more than can do even in my own room.
6. Prooooteeeeiin is importanttttt!
7. Wanna count calorie, download 'calorie counter' to manage the amount of calories needed in a day. I stopped using it tho. gahaha.
8. There's a lot more but I too lazy
9. Maybe last one? Avoid drinking carbonated and sweet drinks. Just drink plain water, not even cold one.
10. But most important thing is DISCIPLINE and COMMITMENT - even after that mood of 'losing weight' has long gone.
So, Gerdlack 💕💕💕
The ming brothers in the ad so I don't skip the ad lol 😁
Thank you for summing up my workout life! Great job! Hahaha!
