I dig most the Icon stuff. I’ve grabbed a few things. You seen the pics going around of Icon impact sockets that have the Cornwell Blue Power stamps on them? 😂 Coming out of the exact same factory in Taiwan. That’s a win for HF, getting some awesome free marketing , backing up their claim that “Icon tools are tool truck quality”
I have that set too, and have liked them a lot. I think the lack of the hex on the shorter ones is due to the fact you can put a lot of pressure on those and still turn, where you need an assist with the bigger fasteners you're going after with the bigger screwdrivers. FWIW, these are made in Taiwan, not China.
Your set looks just like mine haha. Big flathead dirty from doing brakes on the daily. Other bits I use my snap on screw gun with the kimball Midwest master bit set
Not for me, I just got the Wiha extra heavy duty And they're better than Snap-On imo. My issue with these icon drivers is that they're not longer than 6" , the tips are not truly vapor blasted , it's like painted or something, it's not an actual rough patch. On the cheap I would get the Doyle HD , I have all these sets. I honestly do not like the icon drivers AT ALL, the wrenches are fantastic as well as pliers.
Great set.
