@@willidergroe6430true but you have stormforth Erebus and ehther to go 2nd basically a non target removal a non target shuffle and with ehther you summon Kuraz to pop or another monarch and beat over stuff there 2800 so that’s high attack

As an old school duelist that's getting back into the game Monarchs feels familiar. There are so many new special summons now it's hard to keep up.
When I see Monarchs I knew it was going to be a good one.
Monarchs are my favorite archtype. They are simple, yet unique, and their cards look cool as heck.
I love using the monarch deck, it gives a nice lil twist to the game without the extra deck

Funny enough I actually made monarchs as my first deck when started playing MD so that's crazy to see someone use it and actually get Was with it in the higher ranks.

This is perfect! I hate the current state of yugioh. The link and pendulum BS so when ever I can play a deck where my opponent can't do that. It makes me feel good
Agreed. If anything though, decks like the Monarch Deck are a signal for those duelists to calm the f down, there are some people who wanna actually take their time and play. Sorry I just can't stand those kinds of duelists

@@HuyLa127 yes! Because I have hybrid eldlich, monarch and draco. It is a very solid deck, however it will not be floodgates heavy due to lacking slot to play floodgates.
It is also the reason why nobody hybrid it, since it just a casual fun tier 2 deck. Compare to draco + eldlich is more flood heavy and far annoying to play with only flaw is back role removing becoming it's only weakness when using draco+eldlich. Where mixing with monarch you will have better defensive and greater recovery but lower field control.
That is just my experience, since I'm a hard-core monarch fan and has hybrid randomly with many mechanic just to play with it.
Love the content man. As an OG from back in the day, this new version of Yu-Gi-Oh is insane. But this deck hits all the marks. Its simple to understand, effective against the meta, cool ass monsters, and easy to assemble ( atleast on master duel). I appreciate all the help.

My favorite deck and the one I play the most, no matter what meta is dominanting. Right now I played it alongside Floowandereeze (most monsters are Floo and most spell/traps are Mon) and it has a lot of synergy.

Great video, gotta love the Monarchs! Here's a great challenge for you Sam, can you make a deck that focuses on summoning Coordius the Triphasic Dealmon? It's a big fusion monster that requires an xyz monster, a synchro monster and a link monster as fusion materials
I feel it could be a niche Despia off shoot for Super Poly against certain decks that combo off into powerful boards

This explains why I've seen this deck popping up today. Luckily I'm playing dark magician with dpe, and the eternal/circle combo helped out with beating this deck. But I can see it being problematic.
once again great video, I still play monarchs in paper I made a opponent rage quit at locals this week playing the deck. turn 1 Domain into march of the monarchs into vanity's fiend set the monarchs erupt great times.

When I first joined master duel the cyber dragon deck was cheap only 500 gems so I bought 3 copies and made a janky cyber dragon deck. It outs all of the meta cards apart from DPE, it can beat this with either special cydra & sack for cydra, summon cyber dark and equip and attack a 2400. Or if you added a limited removal just attack over. Loads of variety in it I love it

When I returned to playing, monarch’s was my first deck. I never used it before. I bricked so many times that I could build a house with it 😂 going to have to mess with the ratios a bit

Didn't have to surrender, The Kaiju is a tribute summoned monster so the effects of your field spell were still active for you even though you lost vanitys no special summoning eff

A good video idea could be you and a friend put a bunch of different archetypes into a randomizer and duel with whatever you get. Best of 3 or 5 would be sweet
My second to last duel in ex zero festival using the loaner floo was against monarch. It was a tug of war and I kept getting handlooped. Won with imperm negating Ehther (and return of monarchs, in case his face down was escalation}
dude monarch has helped me grind from bronze 5 to plat 3 in under 3 hours, this deck is insane
You have inspired me to pick up monarchs as it was my starting deck on master duel
I suggest adding 1 Delg into your Monarch deck. He functions like Kuraz, but banishes 1~2 cards in their graveyard and mills equal to the cards banished. Perfect against DPE
For fodders, Mithra special summons itself from your hand and places a token on your enemy's field, blocking lightning storm.
Landrobe also slams. It special summons itself by flipping one enemy monster face down.
1 or 2 Frost Blast of the Monarch also bolsters the deck against face down traps/spells, but decreases consistency. You can banish it and a monarch spell/trap card and destroy one face down card on the field. Great against Eldlich.
Never know that delg is really good for current meta to against
@@Arsyel Ehther can special summon him. Delg then banishes Celestial and DPE. Careful you don't miss its timing, though.
You can also bait them with Monarchs Stormforth. If they pop DPE, summon a fodder or tribute their other monster, then banish DPE + Celestial.
Delg also checks Eldlich. Kuraz sucks because his destruction grants your enemy cards

I'm new to playing Yugioh, and I'm having so much fun with my Monarch deck. Being able to tribute an enemy monster seems really overpowered. One game I managed to tribute an enemies Obelisk the Tormenter. 😂
Would love to see some duels in the duel rooms with banned cards like pot of greed, dragoon etc once the patch goes live next week.

Monarchs were my first deck in master duel when i was a little baby in the knowledge of yugioh. I tried playing a going second build but it didn't work so i just went with the control variation rip.

Im also a monarch player and yes the deck is strong but not always in my case im always having bad draws with my deck but still i reach Plat 4 with it last season. Whats scary about the Monarch deck is the 4 strong floodgates 1- domain locking your opponent of their extra deck 2 - Eruption of the Monarch (its skill drain on steroids) 3 - Vanitys Fiend (no special summon) 4 - Majestys Fiend (another skill drain) and they have the best protection in March of the Monarch but all of their floodgates are fragile . I think to make monarch they need to release cards that let you proteck your floodgates coz without it any deck can run over you.

Yeah, you run the risk of bricking anytime you have a lot of high level monsters that need support to hit the field.
