    Speed is cadence x stride length. If your stride length is half a kipchoge, simply double the cadence to 360. This is what Sage meant.

    Thanks for the tips! I’m sure that improving my cadence is all I need to do to run a marathon time that will actually get me into Boston in 2025.

      maybe buy some more expensive shoes. but yeah, just be faster. its that simple.

      @@TheSeriousRunner unfortunately my current PRs already reflect buying really expensive shoes. But maybe the Alphafly 3 will be the one factor that takes me to the next level for spring races! Or maybe I should spend $500 on those WR Adidas shoes.

    Oh how random I was watching some running form videos 🤣🤣🤣 … once you have 180 cadence, be sure to over stride to get that longer stride length and you will Olympic qualify…..

    Btw did you run @5.00 pace and use slow motion or did you just run like you are in slowmotion at 5 pace?

      I Avoid injury not by increasing cadence, economy etc etc. i take more rest days. My self coached plan calls for at least 4 rest days a week then taper 3 weeks before a race. I’am the least injured most rested “runner” at the start. “Seriously” 😆🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️

    Why is this still a topic? Just as no human is limited, we are all “Born to Run”. All it takes for perfect form is a few miles of barefoot running. But maybe start easy with some huaraches first to give yourself time to adapt. 😂

    No human is limited. Don't limit yourself with 180 cadence. Thanks to the rocker of my tech shoes, I am more than 180.
