The only way I can see this done is if she had a conversation with Heidi prior to the performance where she agreed to say 10.
Then it's all a matter of having a pre-determined memorized deck and she can easily force the 2 of spades which is on position 10 on both decks when she asked Howie to stop.
I can't think of any other way. Heidi was a stooge and part of the trick, or else this trick would not work.
BTW, she could do this with any number as long as it was agreed upon with Heidi before the performance. It doesn't have to be 10. If it was 12, then the card forced to Howie would have been different.
So, this works as long as Heidi is a stooge.
Then acting surprised on her own trick is part of her act which she does wonderful!
Yes, the judge also said 10 on basically the same act of australias got talent. Unfair to the other contestants.
Except the judges can't be stooges. She did the same kind of act on Penn and Teller and that show doesn't allow stooges at all.
