The Trolleybus Museum at Sandtoft in North Lincolnshire held its first "Gathering" for 3 years (because of covid) on 31st July 2022.
I hadn't visited for a long time and thought I should get along there and, maybe, start to involve myself again. I had been a regular visitor many years earlier.
This video gives you a taste of what is on offer at Sandtoft. For anyone who likes trolleybuses, or indeed buses in general, Sandtoft is an absolute must see.
The annual gathering is the best time to experience lots of action, although I think the number of "action" events will be increasing over coming months/years.
The video features trolleybuses from Rotherham, Manchester, Doncaster, Huddersfield, Bradford, Nottingham, Reading, Wellington (NZ) and many other locations.

Interesting history! With so many EV vehicles now, it’s only a matter of time until you’ll be able to cross an entire country with power from a buried cable in the roadway…unlimited mileage!
Personally, I see hydrogen as the future but the buried cable is an interesting concept .... Andy
