    This is the first playing review I’ve seen. A scoop!
    I changed to mostly nylon string guitars a few years ago. I want one of these. I’m a Godin fan.

      Same! I'm a singer first, guitarist second and got tired of "you shred, bro?!" questions at gigs when I brought my electrics. Just ordered this bad boy and am excited to recieve it!

    Godin guitars are among the best in the world. I have a mahogany LG with Seymour Duncan PAF's and a Simon/Patrick Woodland Cedar acoustic. That LG has been my go to guitar for blues in several road bands for a lot of years. The acoustic is a poor man's Martin. Pronounced "god - ain". Canadian made of Canadian woods and top notch!

      @baldbearded9601 Před rokem +1

      They have many sub brands other than Simon & Patrick though. Art & Lutherie, La Patrie, Norman and Seagull all have entry level models and premium ones as well.

      @@baldbearded9601 Yes I am familiar with most of them but it's cedar top that hooked me on the Simon/Patrick. The thing is gorgeous! Tone to die for.

    I’ve got a Multiac SA on order so I can add synth sounds with my Roland GR-55. I’m impressed with the plugged-in sound of this Mundial.

    Say all you want.. even if he didn't invent it and they were sold before, Tim Henson created a monster since he first started posting videos of him playing his 2 years ago.

      @smandez2023 Před 6 měsíci +1

      Dude, Godin released the first version of the Multiac in 1993, or the same year Tim Henson was born. There have been lots of killer players that have used them since. Steve Stevens, Doyle Dykes and even Roger Waters would be just a few of them.

    Great video and playing as always John. I really want one of these just for a different flavor and to give my hands a break. Would you say the neck is friendly as a crossover from a steel string background?

      Tried that actually. The Mundial being fully hollowbody with a solid cedar top is actually very vibrant acoustically! Lots more acoustic volume that the chambered solid body nylon ACS

      the pickup system is better on the Godin on higher volumes in a bigger stage setting. I had them both and sent the Cordoba back.

      The blend knob on the Cordoba Stage ruined everything. Turns the guitar into a shrieking banshee with nylon strings. Vastly disappointing feature of an otherwise great guitar.
