Camp Zero and the Great Transition are two books on my TBR too!
Since you liked Bloom, I would highly recommend The Violence by Deliliah S. Dawson too. That is literary fiction, but it's also horror-adjacent. It's about three generations of women who are living through a pandemic known as The Violence- if you're infected and get triggered, you commit a random act of violence against someone near you. No other symptoms. The book's got female friendships, motherly love, horror elements, and wrestling. Some triggers for violence, domestic abuse though.
And I just started The God of Endings by Jacqueline Holland. That's supposed to be vampires, mixed with Invisible Life of Addie LaRue. There's times in Addie where it glosses over how she's lived over centuries; God of Endings takes that concept and expands on it.

Hi Gabby! The Reformatory is a 5-star horror fiction based on the Dozier school in Northern Florida, which was a real place! Colson Whitehead also had a fiction book about this reformatory called The Nickel Boys, and there is a nonfiction book called We Carry Their Bones. Really fascinating and scary fiction and non-fiction!

untamed was my first read of this year and it changed my perspective on a lot of stuff, it was really great. so many nuggets of knowledge that i’m now carrying with me through my daily life

Definitely recommend the audiobook of Fantasticland! I found it dense physically, but it reads like a podcast or documentary on audio with a full cast (if I remember correctly)

Oh I'm excited for you to read A Curious Beginning! Idk if it'll be your thing because of the historical fiction aspect but it was a 5 star read for me and so far I've read the first 3 in the series. Veronica & Stoker are one of my all time favorite couples ❤

I loved Bright Young Women! Gave it 5 stars. It really focuses on the victims of crimes and I found it to be very interesting and eye opening.
Hello Beautiful was also a great read. Gave it 4 stars. I totally didn't know it was inspired by Little Women, but I can definitely see that!
I also read Camp Zero and it was not my favorite. I think the author had a creative and unique idea, but the execution missed the mark for me.
Can't wait to read She's Not Sorry!

I'm obsessed with Vampires. True Blood is one of my fav TV shows. They are based off the book series. But I like the show alot more. Also, there's a YA book series called The Vampire Academy. There's 6 I think. I really liked those. There's a cheesy movie they made. With Sarah Hyland in it. 😊
And a peacock series but i don't know if it's any good I saw first episode. first kill was such a good sapphic vampires show. we were robbed?

How do you get physical books for arcs???
I was so excited for The Fury. I was the first on the list at the library to get it, so they emailed me as soon as it came in and I hustled to get it. What a waste of my life 🤦 I would have DNF'ed it, but The Silent Patient was one of my favorite thrillers ever, so I thought 1. This has to get good, right? and 2. This cannot be going in this extremely obvious direction. I was mistaken on both counts. This book was a MESS.

Read Bright Young Women and meh? Boring. Sorry. Lmao. However, it's about Ted Bundy and I've literally watched EVERYTHING involved with him and his case and then some. So, for me I know it was based more on the women but I thought it was going to be different. Idk. I gave it 2 stars 🤣🤣. I hope others enjoyed it though
You might like non fiction better... try A Light in the Dark by Kathy Kleiner Rubin.
