If you lose your job, you will not face legal complications for not paying mortgage, NHG will takeover your home, sell it, settle the balance and give the remaining money if any. Hosue tax have to pay one time in life (during the purchase) or yearly basis have to pay ?
For second house you need to pay 8% transfer tax at the time of purchase and your property tax will have to be paid yearly...
