🌲 Hello and welcome to Holmåkra 22! 🌲
In this series, we'll mainly focus on forestry and logging! With different setups, mods, etc.
In this episode, we're going to gather all the logs we cut down in the previous episode, making a few big piles near the road to make transportation easier and to create space to continue building the railroad. For this job, we're going to use the Rottne F20D Forwarder. Once we've gathered all the logs, we'll place the new section of the railroad.

Is that a camera mod that allows the camera to follow the crane arm or are you just that smooth?

Is it a edited holmåkra with the trees? Got so much space between the logs on my forwarder, seems u got it tight?
No, it's the original from modhub. 😄 Might be because i rotate the trees every now and then when loading?
Though, the spaces between the logs are quite noticeable in my piles around the map. 😅
Just a question, how are you able to grab a lot of logs at once with the forwarder? I’m having trouble and most of the time the logs just glitch out of the claws.
I'm not sure I quite got the explanation or the trick for it. Lots of practice sure made it easier to handle logs and the physics, but it also helps me a lot that I have a dual joystick setup - this makes it easier to be smooth and more precise with the controls. 😄
Hey Bambi, I've been wanting to get into a little bit more advanced forestry for a while now, and I was wondering if the T16000M joysticks are still a good option for FS22/FS25. I don't really want to drop $200 on the Simtask Farmsticks though. BTW, great video! I've watched about 10-15 of your videos now in the week it's been since I've found your channel 😄
Awesome, I'm happy you enjoy my content! 😁 I personally think that the T.16m's are still a great choice, especially for the price and if you also play other games (flight sims, etc.). The Simtask Farmsticks, though, is a nice upgrade due to the increased number of buttons.
If it's an option, you could also try borrowing a stick to see how you like having a dual joystick setup before making a decision. 😄
